Marengo Ridge Golf & Country Club
About
Marengo Ridge Golf Club opened as a nine-hole course in 1963. Spread across rolling, wooded hills, the course was crafted by re-purposing an old farm. The working cattle barn was even renovated to become the clubhouse. As the golf course garnered a local following, a new nine was added in 1990. The more than 25-year difference between when the two nines were constructed give the course a unique character. The layout seamlessly blends modern techniques and classic design. The distinct topographies of each nine add even more variety. Marengo Ridge Golf Club's original nine holes weave through mature trees while the newer holes are more open and links-style. There are several tricky doglegs throughout but it isn't overly punishing if you're errant. You'll also face several water hazards and strategically placed bunkers.

Yet another great round at Marengo ridge.
Thanks Jeff the pace of play today was great as always. I think Marengo ridge is a great course to play with great atmosphere, and super nice employees.
bunkers
sand bunkers are bad. should be called rock bunkers!
Fun track
Course was in very good shape and it had rained a lot the night before we played. Course was great! I would say the course could improve the cart paths but overall no real issues. Highly recommend this course!
A gem!
By far my favorite local course. A little bit of everything out there and for the price, I’m not sure you’ll find anything better!
Great Deal if you're a solo act
Very good deal for solo golfers to keep an eye on. Great challenging course too!
Sport-A-holic
This is a nice track for all skill levels…
Ball placement in the fairways is essential on a few holes if you’re a little to far left or right the trees can block clear shots to the greens.
Have already set tee time for next weekend I enjoy it so much!!!
Worth the ride
Great course just minutes from hwy. decent shape and good layout with above avg greens. gently rolling fairways. Good mix of long and short holes.
Good course
Marengo Ridge is a good course to play. A few tough holes and not a lot of out of bounds. Fun to play with friends. I enjoy playing here I just don’t like the drive to and from
Definitely stop and grab a brat
Great course for all
I love the course, layout and variety of challenges presented. Four sets of tees allows all to challenge their game. Greens, bunkers, tees and fairways in great shape. Staff friendly and helpful. One drawback was no beverage cart on course. Bring your own water!
Good, not great
It's been many years since I played this course and the layout was better than I recalled. I was disappointed that the bunkers are not being maintained even though other courses have resumed maintenance. Also the greens were fairly bumpy with many pins placed on a crest.
Great shape
The course is on great shape! It is like playing two different courses. One nine is longer and a little more open. The other nine is more traditional, tighter with more dog leg holes. Overall a great experience!
