About
Marengo Ridge Golf Club opened as a nine-hole course in 1963. Spread across rolling, wooded hills, the course was crafted by re-purposing an old farm. The working cattle barn was even renovated to become the clubhouse. As the golf course garnered a local following, a new nine was added in 1990. The more than 25-year difference between when the two nines were constructed give the course a unique character. The layout seamlessly blends modern techniques and classic design. The distinct topographies of each nine add even more variety. Marengo Ridge Golf Club's original nine holes weave through mature trees while the newer holes are more open and links-style. There are several tricky doglegs throughout but it isn't overly punishing if you're errant. You'll also face several water hazards and strategically placed bunkers.

Pleasant Experience
Pro shop and washrooms clean. Friendly staff. Greens, fairways, and rough nicely manicured. Most cart paths are rough and gravel. Only problem was standing water and mud on the cart paths in multiple locations.
Fun Course
Pace of play on Father's Day was 4.5 hours. Can't complain about that. This course excels in their greens/bunkers. Both in fantastic shape. A lot of quirky/fun holes that can be hard if you've never played here before. I will definitely come back mostly because of the greens being in such perfect shape.
Nice course.
Course has a great feel and tons of character! The first time playing is tricky because of all the dog legs, but very nice. I really like how the front 9 features a lot of water and the back 9 shows you the landscape. Fairway and rough lines could be a bit sharper and rough is very short. Overall very good experience and look forward to playing again.

course was tight. trees and out of bounds. scored a 101. im not a beginner and only go out between 5 to 10 times a year golfing. so it was challenging for me. but the course was in great condition. would love to play it again. i probably would not have played it till i saw the great deal from GolfNow. thank you GolfNow

Rain made the course less than ideal. Muddy cart paths and greens that were rough making putting difficult.

this is a fun course to play. Some holes can be challenging but always fun

Considering all the rain we have had, the course was in great shape,fast greens and all around great shape

Staff is the best and the course challenging but not so much that here, the greens are your friend. Again great staff and fair fees
