Great time
Very nice course, greens in excellent shape. Fairways were.a bit long but it was a Monday morning round. Ranger came out at the turn and put us on the 3rd 9 to make sure pace of play stayed on time. Overall I would recommend this course.

Over priced play
This is is very friendly for people who are just starting to play the game, tee box to fairways are pretty open and the greens are very inconsistent when it comes to the speed the ball rolls at. Over all 3.5 stars for the overall course and very friendly for beginners but pretty pricy for where you play.

Good Course in Good Condition
Overall, course was in good condition with smooth, fast greens. My only complaint was the depth of the first - and only - cut of the rough. It was ridiculously deep grass with no transition. Only other gripe was lack of water on the course on a fairly hot day. Have played this course many times and it's generally in good shape and a decent value.

Cut the grass
Grass just off the fairways was more than 6” in some places. Greens fairways and tee boxes were ok.

Good go to course. Our normal course when we cannot get on another course at a reasonable time/price. Off season play is a bit iffy here. Mowing, leaves, and greens have been in less than desirable shape, but it is the off season. The rough here is brutal for distance and finding your ball, you have to be right on top of it to find it.

ENJOYABLE PLACE TO PLAY
To me the #1 factor to play Boone is that it is a beautiful piece of property and has NO homes on the course, Just enjoyable, natural course.tons of birds.great little creek running through..while somewhat flat..the greens keeper had done a great job of making the course challenging but not punishing by shaping the fairways and while the rough is not tall it it thick enough to make missing the fairway meaningful....the greens are excellent,,again they are quick and have enough undulation to make you pay attention....and fun to putt. Staff is friendly and casual...club house fair is just what you want..nice selection of reasonably priced beers..Pretentious is not the word to describe Boone...but a great spot to enjoy a round of golf with friends. I think if golf wants to continue to grow they need more courses like Boone.

Well worth the money
Course was wet due to rain, but was in really good shape, lots of workers out on course when we were there working on the grounds, traps were packed down, again because of the rain, we had a great time and will be back again.
