Golfer Reviews
First timer
Greens were excellent. Fairways also very good, just wish I had found more of them. Will definitely play again.
Great Value
The course is a great value and in good condition. However, they keep the "rough" to long. Loosing a ball in the rough should not be as easy as it is at Boone Creek. I have been golfing here more than once and their rough is always too long. Trim the rough up a bit and Boone would be a hidden gem.
Nice layout, conditions good overall
This was my second time playing this course. It is a decent and interesting layout, and overall I have to say the course conditions were pretty good for a municipal course. Greens are pretty fast for a muni, but putts rolled well. The rough can be quite challenging, and the way I was hitting the ball, I ended up in it a lot.
Pace of play was mostly ok, but the two groups in front of us were together playing some sort of scramble tournament among themselves, and at the turn, the first group ridiculously waited for the second group to catch up, and then let them play first. So we had to wait probably an extra 20 minutes at the turn because those entitled jerks though it was ok to behave as if they were the only ones on the golf course.
What took me so long?
First time playing here. What a treat. The conditions on the day I played were outstanding. Not sure from the recent rain or if they water a ton but the fairways were some of the best I have played on. I play once a week and also travel all over to play golf. I was super impressed with not only fairways but greens as well. Greens were fast and well cared for. To be honest, I could have paid twice what I did and would have still felt like I got a deal. Sand traps were poor but that is the only thing I could ding them on. Can't wait to go back.
Great course for beginners
This was my third time playing this course have only played the Prairie and valley sets. Looking forward to going back and trying the Creekside Nine sometime soon
I enjoyed Boone Creek
I personally enjoyed Boone Creek. It's not a long course, but you have to make shots. If you spray the ball everywhere, bring shag balls or don't play here. Otherwise, I felt the course was in nice condition, greens were medium speed and rolled for a true putting surface.
Tight course unforgiving rough.
Nice layout, average greens, tight fairways. It’s worth a round.
