Willow Run Golf Course

Was my favorite 9 hole course providing a good layout with decent length. Was expecting this, but instead found a course in rapid decline. The tee boxes were not in the box areas but instead Put in the fairways. The greens were atrocious. Worst I’ve seen, no grass at any of the 9 “greens”. A course having issues isn't where my gripe is. My gripe is that they make no mention of the unacceptable conditions and are charging full price. I’ll come back if they get this under control, but checking reviews until then.

Course was in awful condition. Greens were dead and unplayable. Pace of play was very slow.

You should be embarrassed to take money from the ppl who walk in those doors ! Not a blade of grass on those greens !!! DIRT !! Not just one but all 9 greens !! Biggest waste of time and money . Shame on you guys , just sell it and move on .

This course was In terrible shape. The tee boxes were In the rough of the fairway. The greens... your carpet In your living room is nicer to putt on. They need to fire the greens crew because those were the worst greens I’ve ever seen. Half the greens didn’t even have grass. It’s like they put seeds on them to grow for next spring. You really couldn’t even putt on them.

The greens were nonexistent. The rest of the course was so beat up and rough. Understood less revenue with Covid but also less play. The whole course felt incredibly neglected. Definitely worth driving any extra distance to avoid this course at the moment, especially for the price. $30 yikes.

Course I’m in terrible shape. No grass on the greens. Course is in the worst condition of any course I have ever played on. For $30 to play 9 holes, it is way overpriced.

Greens were like nothing I have ever seen. Calling it a green is a disservice. Hardly any grass in the green Appeared to be over seeded but not very good. Actually very poor.

As the title says, not coming back

I’m guessing the 4 most recent reviews that are done by the same person is a worker at this course. The course is in brutal condition and no one in their right mind would say they would return the following week after playing the course how it is right now. Once they fix their greens, fringes, and tee boxes, then it’ll be a decent 9 hole to work on your game. Don’t waste your money on this course right now

Do NOT play this course right now. Normally it is a nice 9 hole course with a few challenges, but not too hard. However.. and it’s a big however, the course is in BRUTAL conditions right now. The tee boxes are grown out, but there are so many divots and spots of dirt that you really don’t notice. The worst part about the course right now are the greens. Torn up like crazy and they poured the green divot repair ALL over every single green. Looks terrible, putts terrible, and it just was not fun to be on the green or even around the green because of the condition. Hopefully they fix it up quick, but for now I am staying away.

This course has a great Hot Deal, generally M-Th between 10-11am. $12 to ride 9. With the fees it's about $15. For that price, I plan to regularly play this course. It is near my house and I am a beginner and this course is fairly forgiving. Parts of the course are in rough shape, which is why I only play there with the Hot Deal price of $12 because it is definitely worth it for that price. If you're a beginner or you want a pleasant course that isn't terribly challenging, I definitely recommend this course. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Not sure I would recommend their normal price to ride 9 holes, especially on the weekend though, the course is not worth full price considering other area courses you can play that are much nicer for similar price.
