Horrible Conditions!
From tee box to green this place was in horrible condition. Tee boxes were dirt. Greens were not even puttable, most had huge dead spots all over!
Save your money!
Never again.
We were supposed to tee off at 11:30 but there were six other the carts Delaying it as This course for some reason decided not to employee starter to save a quick bath which will likely lose thousands in the long run. Me and my friends will not be coming back to this course as it is taken four hours to complete a nine hole and that is absurd. There was construction on the way to the course which made it a nightmare getting here and I got lost too. As I stated I will not be playing this course again. What a shame.
Do not golf in the fall season!
Falling leaves covered the fairways, tee boxes and rough. Lost two balls in the leaves, found seven balls while playing. Five balls were found in the fairways. Greens had many browned out areas and mud areas where there was no grass at all. Have golfed here before, when there was better conditions. It can be a fun course........but not today!
The greens are basically mud. Not much turf left there
Practice
First time playing course, and it's been several weeks since last play. With that said, this course is good for stepping back in or keeping edge if need to get some swings in. Course needs help and one can see that grounds crew working on that. Overall, not bad, would and weather permitting, will play again.
Beautiful course
Beautiful course very friendly staff would recommend. Fast greens though but great course
Good Value........Good Course
Was hesitant to come after reading earlier reviews but was glad i did..........I have worked on the maintainence side of the business and could tell that the tees, fairways, and greens had all been recently aerified which should bode well for them moving forward. The greens were by no means fast but they putted pretty true...........everything had been mowed out on a Monday which to me is very impressive for a small operation...........Friendly people inside and lots of beer choices..........I will definately be back
Amazing place!
I played all though high school and Willow run has always been a favorite for me! The staff is so friendly and they always make the experience as best as they possibly can for everyone that comes in. I tell all of my friends that golf that they should check it out. I will definitely be going back!
Excellent service!
I loved playing at this corse. Very friendly staff!
My favorite golf course!
Willow Run golf course is one of the best golf courses I have played. I have been playing there since I was in high school and it never disappoints! The staff is super friendly and helpful, and they make you feel so welcome. You can't beat the prices or the amazing course layout! I would definitely recommend this golf course for anyone looking to have a great time!
Just horrible
So my buddy booked us on this course. Let’s call him Mike. So mike was like, we have a tee time. I’m like, cool. Then I looked at the reviews of this place. I thought people were being pompous af with the reviews. But no, it was really that bad. My buddy, Mike, has been golfing since he was born. He never shot bogey on a par 4. But, with sticks and rocks in the way on the green, what’s a guy supposed to do. Now, I’m sitting here in the emergency room waiting area because my buddy, Mike, had a panic attack and is now depressed. Shame on you, Willow Run.
I have golfed there many times over the years - this was the first time it was in such terrible condition! The greens were in terrible shape
Not worth it
Just finished 9 holes at this course and the tee boxes and greens are absolutely terrible, grass around the greens were basically half mud half grass. Fairways weren't great either but somewhat playable. Every putt the ball looked like you were putting on rocks it was jumping so much. Definitely will not be back it's not even worth the $22
