Course in shambles
Tee boxes were not available. The greens were deseased and for $30 those are unacceptable conditions
Horrible experience
I played this joke of a course today and was never told that every green was diseased. The fringe was nonexistent on most holes and the tee boxes were unavailable. I went in after my round and asked for a partial refund. I admit that I played the entire round but I thought it would get better eventually. I did not ask for a full refund but wanted $10 off the $30 price for 9 holes given the abysmal conditions. The manager immediately gave me attitude. When I said the whole course was ground under repair he stated that diseased greens dont count and that no other course would tell you about it. Every course I have ever played has told me when they are having issues. Avoid this course at all cost
Old Style Golf
Avoid for now
Greens are like painted concrete with lumps. Fairways are fair at best. Don't waste your money. I loved this course in the past but won't go back. I don't know how they can sell tee times in good conscience.
Greens
Greens where smooth but not a lot of grass. Course and place was great until hope 8-9 when you have to wait for others to finish.
Classic Architecture with Lackluster Grass
Beautiful course architecture. Fun and old school,, dwarfed by modern equipment. Blind shots for the win. Some strategy required with the tree lined fairways. Back-to-front sloping smaller greens. A good place to come play 9 or 18 if you’re not looking for the best quality grass for greens at that price. Will go back.
Value with a capital V.
Home like feel here. Reasonable enough daily course conditions as long as you are not a golf snob. Friendly staff and updated carts. When Sunday rolls around give this course a second look...
Good place to play a quick round.
Positives: This course has some of the friendliest staff out of any course I’ve played, the layout of the course is fun, and I had a good time playing my round here. For the money, I’d recommend this course if you are looking to play a quick round of 9.
Negatives: The course is a little run down. There is not much difference between fairway and rough, the tee boxes and not in the best condition, and the course is very short. You might overdrive the green on a few of the par 4’s, but the course also has back tees to remedy this.
Good old course for the price
Greens in excellent shape, tee boxes could be improved. Old course with mature trees.
Greens were covered with maple seeds. Pace of play real slow.
Good value
The course was pretty run down, compared to when I last played there 15 years ago, but had a good time, nonetheless.
