I don't know why I don't play this course more often! Great conditions. Some of the best greens I've played all year. The course makes you hit a lot of different shots giving you bag the full workout.

I kick myself in the rear every time I play here because I don't play here more often. Good layout which makes you hit a lot of different shot and a lot of different clubs. Greens were some of the best I have played this year. Firm with true roll. I need to come back soon.

Steeple Chase is among the best courses in the area, maybe just a tick below ThunderHawk and Stonewall Orchard. It’s as good if not better than Pine Meadow and White Deer Run. It lacks a driving range, but you can just stop by Countryside and buy a bucket to warm up.

Steeplechase is a great golf course, if you hit the correct shots, you get rewarded and poor decisions can lead to big numbers. Despite 5 inches of rain , greens were still very fast and fairways were not spongy. Bunkers were borderline unplayable because of the water but course is so good. Great variety on the holes.

This is a great course fast greens and great layout.

love the course but a 4 hour and 50 minute round is not. Tee times are set at every 10 minutes and there are even trackers on the carts which makes no sense why the round would take so long. Why they did not have a ranger out speeding up play where the even knew where it was causing the issue{s}

I had always heard about this course as one to play, and it was indeed a good experience. The staff were friendly, the golf carts were great, and the course was in pretty good condition. The greens were rough, but I can't putt anyway so it didn't matter (smiley face). Great pace of play, especially on Father's Day.

The food was poor, as they only had hot dogs and brats--and I think my hot dog was cooked a few days ago.

Overall, I will definitely play again, will just have to eat before I arrive.

I make a point to play here every year at least once. Friendly, accommodating staff - course in good share and very grateful for the cart that comes around aleast once with beverages and ice.

This course is in great shape all the way around. The holes are really nice and I would definitely come play here again. My only complaint is that the greenskeeper must have been mad with the placement of the holes. There were a couple that if you were putting uphill and didn't make it, the ball would roll back to you. I'm all for difficult and fast greens, but this was crazy.

Course is great, greens were fast and true. Just a perfect blend of some easy and tough holes. Need to stay below the hole on greens. A really fair test, if you keep it near the fairway it’s possible to play well but get in rough around greens and it is tricky. Love the course.
