Ran out of carts tee time was delayed 45 minutes barely finished before dark
Close to Starved Rock
It's been a long time since I last played here .
The routing was reconfigured, almost confusing layout. What used to be a 9 hole layout then expanded to 18. The routing has changed to mix the old and the new. This probably better because it sprinkles the more interesting holes throughout the round.
The new 9 has matured. A new pond has been added.
The new owners have made a number of improvements
Pace Of Play - This usually comes down to how many people are playing, or the manners and courtesy of the players. Pace was excellent. Two groups allowed me to play through. Almost had the course to myself.
Course Conditions - Recently aerated greens play well
Staff Friendliness -
Only encountered pro shop staff. Indifferent at best.
Value For The Money
$43 comparable to other nearby courses.
Course Layout
Very flat and easy to walk. The back side is more interesting then the front.

There is a restaurant and bar on site.
Nice o'l wooded course !
Course was in good shape ! Leaf's are starting to fall .. It looks like greens were aerated a week or so ago so that is not a problem. No ball washers were out or rakes ! I hear their is a new owner & it looks like some improvements are underway .If I can golf here for between 20 & 25 I will do it more often !
Booked this course on golf now and paid full price for 12;30 tee time. Storm was supposed to roll in, and they would not let us come early to get round in, or offer a rain check. Golf now did not offer refunds or rain checks for "Hot Deal" even though we paid full price. Could not get a live person on the phone from Golf now. Never going to use golf now again

Great course for all levels. Excellent staff and lots of different weekly things going on. If your in the area you need to golf here.
Excellent Course
Excellent Course. Many interesting holes. Conditions were excellent as well. 5 tees so you can find one to suit your ability level.
Once again my wife and I had a very enjoyable time at Deer Park
