slow pace
followed 7 people in one group slow for 5 holes not happy bad sand traps rocks no sand in traps very slow greens not mowed very good

Very challenging courser but playable. Had great time will play there again.
Silver Ridge
Course was in decent condition considering the summer drought. Ground very hard in most places and some bare areas. Greens were ok. I give the grounds keeper and crew credit for not losing the battle.

Glad to see them working on the cart paths , it will make a great course even better
Great Layout, Friendly staff, Fairly maintained, AWFUL cartpaths
I love the hilly terrain and the layout. Most of the holes have a reasonable elevation change. Holes 2, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16 and 17 are amazing! If you play there you must use the back tees on 11 and 12 , if you can find them. Tee box on hole #14 (par 3) is the only tee box maintained reasonably well because it is along Highway 2. No coincidence I suppose. Please fix the deep pot holes on the cart paths... They are dangerous. If you have a bad back, do not use then. I recommend this course ONLY for the visual appeal.

Course play was fast, the staff was very accommodating, I arrived a bit early and was able to go off early!
Challenging
Driven by this course for 30 years. First round today. Very challenging, some tight fairways and smaller greens. I thought the layout was great. Wjhoever decided to carve out a course in these woods must have had a good time doing so. I think I would struggle if I tried to walk it. Some long green to tee stolls
