Great shape
Silver Lake South in great shape. Played on 3 hours and 45 minutes. Great round!!
Slow pace
Great facility and course. Pace of play was bad although it was Sunday
Good value
Course was crowded so played slowly but in nice shape. Bunkers in good shape as well. Halfway house was open and fully stocked. Would play again under a hot deal and hope for better pace.
Course was in very the shape .The price was nice for this time of year
Needs some love
Course needs a lot of love to return to its glory.
Basically straight
Excellent layout with basically flat and straight away holes. Most fairways are wide with a fair number of sand traps.

Haven't played here in years besides a very wet day it is a long course you would swear standing in the tee box there all par 5s.had a great time course was in great condition with all the rain but sand traps were knee deep water.
Nice Course, in great condition
I've played this course before. We found it to be in excellent condition for the most part. Of special note to me as a minority, I absolutely felt more comfortable. The pro shop staff personnel, grounds folks, all were very friendly..... The "good old guy" crowd was there, but did not project the "why are you here" air we detected previously.....
Sept 29th Silver Lake round
Course is in best shape ever. Caught up with 2 friendly gentlemen that invite f me to play alomg with them.
well conditioned
Given our lack of rain, this course conditions were excellent: from tee boxes to fairways to greens.
Slow play
Course was in good shape, greens were a little slow for my liking but over all decent. When I Tee'd off on the north course nothing was said to that there was a outing in front of me so the pace was really slow, luckily I hooked up with 2 other singles on the 3rd tee, had a really good time finishing out the 18 with Jim and Steve
