Great Park District Course
Staff treats everyone like they are members. At the same time, the staff is conscientious about pace of play for all golfers. Group ahead was a little behind, staff courteously asked them to be aware that they were a little slow. Course is in great shape. Greens, bunkers, fairways all beautifully maintained.
4 sets of tees to give all golfers the challenge they want to accept.
Great practice facility if you want to work on 100 yards and in. Highly recommended!
Nice golf on a cold day!
Course is in good condition and is absolutely well maintained even on cold weather and green is challenging enough. Will comeback and play again that’s for sure.
Windy and clear at Palatine Hills
The course was in great shape - challenging pin placements - made putting interesting...and very hard. Speed of the Greens was "Quick" too. The pace of play was fantastic - rangers keep things moving. The woman who checked us in was very helpful and pleasant. Range really helpful to hit a few and a great chipping area and putting green to practice. I'll be back...great folks.
Great day at the course, we played the round with a father and son and were completed in under 4 hours, had a great day. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Love to go back again.
Great course
Very good spot! The course is well-designed with a nice mix of length, style and shape to the holes. The greens are challenging and have a lot of subtle breaks, but in good condition and fair. They also have a short game area, a practice green, and a range (though it is a short range with nets around 200 yards, but you can at least warm up). There's also a decent restaurant and the staff were super friendly. A couple of fairways had some dead spots on the finishing holes, but overall the place was in nice condition. It's a very solid option at a reasonable price point, will definitely be back!
Good but not great
Overall a nice course but gotta ding it a point for the cart fees. $21 a person the carts should have gps.
