Arlington Lakes Golf Club is situated amid the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Locals treasure the course as one of the area's hidden gems. At 5,331 yards from the back tees, this par-68 layout is on the shorter side but don't underestimate its level of difficulty. Besides the mature trees that frame many of the holes and 14 lakes that come into play, there are more than 100 strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout also features small, sloped greens that demand accuracy but you can take comfort in the fact that there are no doglegs. With strategic shot-placement and a bit of luck, there are some birdie opportunities available. The shorter length of the golf course will appeal to beginners but it's versatile for more advanced players to enjoy as well.

Great course for all levels
Course is always in good condition. I like have more par 3s. Tees make it easy for all golfers to enjoy. Pro shop guys behind the desk were nice and the female starter was sweet.
Great course
Great challenge from the black tees, four of the six par threes are over 150 yards in length and present a great challenge. The greens are very smooth and undulating Water comes into play on 10 holes and there’s out of bounds on the left on at least five holes. So you better be hitting the ball straight if you want to score well here , real nice test of golf. I like the way they cut the fringes down really low so you can putt or chip from well off the green.
Fall golf
Conditions were very good. Pace of play was good, 18 holes in under 4 hours. Staff is cheerful and helpful, as usual!

Great Find
Played on a Friday afternoon. Got a cart booked a teatime all seamlessly. The course is a little short, but very challenging with on every hole except a few. Greens in very good shape. Their ways have been burned out by the intense heat and could use a little more watering. Otherwise a really good find in the Chicagoland area for a course that is challenging.

For a short course, this place is SLOW!!!
Let me preface this by saying that I played with two others - we had a foursome in front of us that had NO clue how to golf. 100 yards off the 2nd tees, another 100 yards up, another 100, missed greens... Their pace was amazingly slow. They stopped at the restaurant after the first 9, and so we played through (they stopped at least half an hour), and all the sudden the pace of play was unbelievably quick.
There's a marshall driving around, but it's not really to ask about pace of play. I just think for this short course - that the play should be fast. But it's not the case. Unless friends decide to play here (which they normally will not), I don't know that I'll be coming here anymore.
Excellent Course
The layout is extremely nice! My buddy and I were pleasantly surprised with the good conditions and layout!! Fun course I'd play again!
