Just OK for the Price
Fairways were burnt or diseased in a bunch of areas. Fescue was nice above the traps and sand was in good shape. Too many divots around tee boxes of par 3's and too many ball marks on greens. Greens were OK (slow) but I'm paying for the convenience of playing in Northbrook. $67 is too much for what Heritage Oaks provided me this day.
Course is beat up
Course is covered in fungus, fairways are dead…still charging full price for a course that is normally in great shape…beyond beat up between the tee boxes and the fungus all over. Pricing should be adjusted to reflect the current course conditions
First time
Nice course nice pacing decent value. There were some pretty chewed up sections of fairway. Yes we haven't had much rain lately but it's surprised me a bit for a $100 course

Tee boxes chewed up. 5 hour round. Cart died but they got me a new one. Staff was friendly. They get away with the price because of proximity.
Hot Day
The course is in good shape with all the rain lately. Pace of play good. However, no water on the course for hot days except the halfway house. Not good enough when they say no coolers allowed. Do better please.

Great local and close to home course
Moved to the area recently and found a wonderful local course in Heritage Oaks. With the option of 9 or 18 holes, or when I just want to work on my short game or practice at the range, there’s always an opportunity for me improve my game. Staff is always friendly and make you feel like a member of a club.
Played 5/20. Early in the year - but course conditions - tee boxes patchy, greens slow. Greenside areas very poor
Overall - Like the layout - conditions need to improve
Great pace of play on a tuesday afternoon
I walked the course in 3 hours, which is exceptional. Course layout is pretty good, not too challenging but still have to hit the right shots.
Great Course
Second time playing there and the value for $70 is unbeatable. Nice self-serve driving range, fast greens, great pace of play.
