Sharing Carts and Very damaged course

If you don’t like sharing carts with strangers don’t play this course. I was forced to move everything off my cart on hole one to pair up with a random because they didn’t have enough carts (rent more from a third party). Course was still massively damaged from rain earlier in the year.

Tee boxes need work

Great layout with a variety of interesting golf situations. Rain and hard use may contribute to the significant amount of bare spots on fairways Tee boxes are uniformly heavily putted with divots with little evidence of attempted remediation. Greens are large and run well. Staff were uniformly friendly and courteous.

Good course for the price

Overall, great experience from arrival to leaving. The course was in pretty good shape but some. Tee boxes were beat up and parts of fairways were beat up but for the price it was a steal. I would definitely book again

Just OK for the Price

Fairways were burnt or diseased in a bunch of areas. Fescue was nice above the traps and sand was in good shape. Too many divots around tee boxes of par 3's and too many ball marks on greens. Greens were OK (slow) but I'm paying for the convenience of playing in Northbrook. $67 is too much for what Heritage Oaks provided me this day.

Course is beat up

Course is covered in fungus, fairways are dead…still charging full price for a course that is normally in great shape…beyond beat up between the tee boxes and the fungus all over. Pricing should be adjusted to reflect the current course conditions

Nice course nice pacing decent value. There were some pretty chewed up sections of fairway. Yes we haven't had much rain lately but it's surprised me a bit for a $100 course

Hot Day

The course is in good shape with all the rain lately. Pace of play good. However, no water on the course for hot days except the halfway house. Not good enough when they say no coolers allowed. Do better please.
