solid track would play again
Greenskeeper set the pins in places that were very difficult. Probably the hardest that that course could’ve played in my opinion. Big things are in the review back was how rude and unhelpful the starter was.
Great course, mostly great condition.
Course was in good condition, a few silver tee boxes were pretty bare. Could definitely use a much larger sign with direction from the 9th green to the 10th tee.

Where's the Ranger?
Pace of play was terrible and the ranger only arrived at the 18th hole and this was after 1:00. We started at about 8:40. Ridiculous that they were commenting about how we were 30 minutes over pace at the 18th hole!

Great Beginnings
I've played this course many times and after the recent upgrades I can see the difference on the course with the new irrigation and drainage, with no dead areas, and nice grass off the fairways. Many trees and brush have been cut back from around the water hazards. The wonderful new chipping range and putting green, along with the Trackman practice range makes for a great warm-up and round.

Greens were punched and they filled with cheap sand that had rocks which threw putts offline

It was my first time playing the course. Despite a frost delay, it was a really enjoyable experience.
The staff was very friendly and kept golfers informed of the delay and the plan to get us started when the course was ready.
For early April, the course was in good shape especially the greens. The layout was great with a nice variety of holes. I look forward to my next round at the course.
One suggestion - yardages on the tee box sprinkler heads on the par 3s would be a helpful addition.

Impressive Amenities
I last played here around 20 years ago when it was known as Sportsman’s. The course hasn’t changed from what I remember, just a good test of golf. The clubhouse and pro shop is new and very impressive. The driving range is nice and the balls are quality Titleist practice balls. The short game area and bunker are sizable and the sand is quality, not that thick beach sand at some courses. Place of play was excellent for a 7:50AM Sunday time. Our foursome of 2 walkers and 2 riders played in just over four hours. Our two big complaints are that the flags are all the same color, no way to differentiate distance , and they should of had some water coolers on some of the tees. Overall a nice place to Golf

Awesome course
great experience - they made us walk after I paid for carts already via golfnow, but the layout is wide open and in good condition for the beginning of the season. I’ll definitely be back.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are for
I played it when it was Sportsman’s and I think they did exactly what the course needed on the renovation. They now have a wonderful range paired with a short game area and a large putting green. Hole one was lengthened to be an actual par 5. The greens were redone and are fantastic. To be fair there is a little grow in needed around some of the chipping areas, but for early November the place was in excellent shape. The clubhouse looks very nice but I didn’t have time to visit the restaurant.

late season bonus
November 9th, but a beautiful fall day, mid-sixties and
sunny. The course was free of leaves and debris, the
fairways were in great shape. The greens werei a little bumpy but it was a very enjoyable course.
