Deerfield, excellent value challenging course good conditions.
Just like it says in the title unbeatable value. Challenging course. Nice layout nice conditions. Pace of play was quick. I've been there sometimes when it's slow you just never know what you're going to get.
Slow
Played on a Monday...paid for 18. Pace was 2 hours and 40 minutes for front 9. I bailed after 9, asked for a rain check for other 9. They said no. Asked for a supervisor and the attendant said to call golf now.
All good at Deerfield
Looked busy when we arrived, but teed off on time and played in about 4:20, normal for us older guys. I wish others would repair ball divots on the greens, I did at least one on every hole beyond any our group made.
FINALLY
HAD TO USE UP HOT DEAL COUPON FROM LAST YEAR. WHAT A BAD SYSTEM TO FORCE GOLFERS TO PLAY CERTAIN DAYS AND TIME. BUT COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE EVEN WITH ALL THE RAIN.GREENS ROLLED GREAT. ALSO DRIVING RANGE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE.

Playing golf in a swimming pool
The fairways and rough were covered with water. The course should have been closed. A waste of a round of golf.
customer service
The people at the desk were clueless as to customer service. I purchased a tee time on line and not from Deerfield's website and was treated as if i stole money out of their pocket.Waiting to hear from management about the training they give the employees
Spring is here... Where was the drinking water?
I was parched out there by the end of the second nine because the water fountains weren't turned on and they didn't put any water coolers out on the course. It's 80 degrees guys come on.
Nice and we'll kept
This was a enjoyable course.
It was well maintained. Fairways require you to be pretty accurate.
Bunkers are in good shape with decent sand.
Staff was present and friendly. We had a ranger driving around and a few holes keeping a eye on things.
The greens are smooth quick and true.
I enjoyed my experience and would go again with out second thought.
