Deerfield Golf Club

The course had 3 temporary greens that was not stated when I booked the reservations. Besides that, the course was in decent condition.

this is a really nice course it is very well maintained the greens are fast and difficult it's a really a good course to play not too difficult but very good value

This course is very well maintained with fairly fast greens and great conditions. Staff was super friendly and pace of play was good on a weekday,

Easy check in at Pro Shop and starter was very friendly in pairing me up with an earlier group. Although range balls were part of the package, the range did not open until 11 AM and my tee time was at 9:10AM. Fairways and greens were in excellent shape. Greens ran true and would have been treacherous if they were running fast.

Solid course that is well keot. the greens could be alittle faster and a cart person would be appreciated

Overall fun time. There was a small delay earlier in the morning that bumped our tee time back 40 mins but the staff was friendly and accommodating. We used the time to hit balls on their driving range.

Course was well maintained and played long. Bring your driver. I scored the worst in our group but 2 still broke 100 (99 and 82.)

Patrons in front of us played slow. They also complained to a ranger that we hit into them. It was hard to tell if they were regulars. You may read a review or two about unfriendly club members. I wouldn't let that keep you from playing the course. Everyone who worked there was friendly and welcoming.

Start out at the practice facility. Grass range with plenty of targets and chipping green with several bunkers around.
Course is in great shape. Rough is long and encourages finding the fairway. Enough water and bunkers to make you think about shot placement. The greens are large undulating and fair. This course was fun. Afterward relaxing in the clubhouse bar for lunch was another good experience. The staff was attentive and the food worth going back for. I'll be back.

I'll start with the good. The greens are fantastic and fair. The ball rolls true and at good speed. Now the bad. The course is extremely narrow on many holes, with OB left and right on many of those same holes. If there isn't OB then there's water. Homes border many of the holes and the interstate also borders a few holes. I'd skip this course and play somewhere else.

Nice course, somewhat challenging, must stay in fairways because if you don't you will be behind a tree. Big greens - good con'd

Everything about our experience was great. From check in, play on the course, food and service. We are going to play Deerfield again in a couple of weeks. The course was in excellent condition, sand traps well groomed, greens well rolled and play very well. We will recommend this course to our golf playing friends.

Way overpriced for what you get. Pro shop clerk was pretty arrogant "the course is perfect". There were NO coolers of drinking water at all. Only 1 drinking fountain on front and 1 on back, providing a lukewarm weak water stream, smelled funny. This place has gone way downhill since I last played it about 10 years ago. Many other courses at almost half the price that give you a better value. Will lever go again.

I thought overall Deerfield Golf Club is in vintage condition. I loved playing there w/ my son!

Solid course but somewhat expensive. Rate of play was great for a Saturday around noon.

Greens in good shape, but could be faster.
Pars and Birdies can be made on each hole, even for a 15+ handicap.

Never understood how Deerfield got away with charging what it does. Not a bad course but nothing to write home about

Best conditioned greens I've played on so far this season out of the 5 to 7 different courses I've played on. Very minimal ball marks and the color was a perfect green all the way around.

We played the front 9 and I teed it forward from the Blue/Gray tees. Fun course where you can't get in too much trouble even if you spray it a little bit. Our group seemed to find a lot of sand but I didn't think it was over bunkered.

I was a little confused as I walked up as I wasn't sure to put clubs on cart and which one but ranger/starters helped once we got out of golf shop.

The golf course was in great shape and had fantastic greens. Very good value. I would play there again and again.
