Golfer Reviews
Beginner course
Course is very wide open, usually well maintained. Pace is ok early morning. Recommend for beginners. No range, the fun center across the street is their “range”. The pool (mentioned) hasn’t been used or even filled in the 3 years I’ve played rounds there(if you care). Food is basically turn dogs and snacks which good enough for me. Comparables: Less difficult than Hughes creek, Elburn, but better maintained.
Holiday golf
For playing this course on the Saturday of a holiday weekend, the course was in really good shape the pace of play was OK and the staff was very friendly

first time
I played Sycamore Golf Club for the 1st time today and I loved it. I am 56 years old and played from the white tees. Considering the weather that we have had, I thought the fairways were in tremendous condition. The greens were very fast. I will be back

It was a wonderful day, course excellent, pace moved very well for a Friday....best part were the Sand Hill Cranes walking around. Looked like two yearlings.....they didn't seem to mind the company. And we rescued a baby raccoon who had fallen from an Oak tree. The staff and crew immediately met us on the course to take it to a local sanctuary....
Thank you for the positive rating! Be sure to come back soon!

A gem out west.
We love Sycamore G.C, If you need to gain some confidence in your game, try this course. Greens are subtle in their contours, the fairways are never burned out (new irrigation system installed 2020). Not many traps or trees. The only thing you have to put up with is rickety old carts. Worth the trip and fee.
Thanks so much for the great review. We look forward to welcoming you back to our course soon. Thanks for choosing Sycamore Golf Club.
