About
Odyssey Country Club is a challenging layout that was designed by Harry Bower and two-time U.S. Open winner Curtis Strange. Strange won in 1988 and 1989, putting him in the company of only six others in the century-long history of the U.S. Open. His influence is apparent in all the strategic elements of the golf course as well as the risk-reward options. This demanding layout is not exactly beginner friendly. Staying on the fairways is crucial or your ball will be met with deep rough. Water is also a prominent presence on the golf course. Twelve holes either feature a water hazards or play along the water's edge. Odyssey Country Club's 16th hole is memorable for its tricky island green, which naturally draws comparisons to the famous 17th at TPC Sawgrass.

Nice course
The people working there were really nice. Fairways in great condition. Greens were in good condition but people need to fix there divots. Played white tees front nine played a lot shorter than back nine. Not a big hitter so back nine a lot of holes took three shots to get to green. Enjoyed the course on a beautiful day.

Low Key and Comfortable
Some scenic views, plenty of water and a nice layout. Will keep playing here - feels like you're out in the country.

No course supervision, Parts of the course need Maintenance
Overall the course is not well maintained. The divots in the tee boxes haven’t been repaired all year, there hasn’t even been an attempt to fix them. The sand/seed boxes at the tee boxes are empty. There is clover everywhere. The tee boxes, fairways, and rough. Since the clover is flowering and is white, if you hit a ball in the rough, you’ll never find it. The rough hasn’t been cut in a week. There is a lot of inconsistency in rough height. Granted it has been unusually hot and exceptionally dry lately. The course is watered well however. The greens are actually in very nice condition, but they need to be rolled badly. There is no course ranger making sure pace of play is moving as expected, the ranger finally showed up at the back 9 when the course started to get busy on a Wednesday twilight. There was a group of 5 playing in front of us. At one point it turned to a group of 7. The group was more interested in standing at the tee box and conversating instead of golfing. Overall I probably won’t play here anytime soon. The course needs work and it’s a free for all out on the course if it’s even slightly busy.

Excellent Condition
I’ve played Odyssey many times before. The course was in excellent condition and the greens well maintained. They were also very consistent and fast. I would recommend this course to others interested in playing a course with a few long challenging Par 5’s.

Nice staff but super slow play
Enjoyed the course but they really need a ranger out on the course pushing people. Took too long for a round of golf

few player repair the ball marks, I repaired as much as I can without delay the pace.
A very good base to maintain at high quality grass is valuable. one of the sand box missing scoop.

Memorial day weekend
Got off right at my tee time at 6:48am. Starter was friendly. I was a single and was paired with 2 other guys. Greens were all in good shape, fairly smooth and rolling about a 10 or 11. Fairways were great. Rough was a bit deep and had a lot of flyer lies but shouldn't be hitting it there anyways. Cart girl found us on about number 14 and was friendly. I really like this track and will be back.

Windy day at the course
Played course after a rain storm so cart path only slowed down play. Greens were a little hard but you need to adjust your game accordingly. I’ve played this course many times and have always enjoyed the different challenges it presents

Pace: the pace here can be slow, and have had more experiences where a slower golfers held up a faster golfers than where faster players were let thru. However, if it's open here you can move around quickly.
Conditions: can get soggy. Tees, fairways and greens are all in good shape. Bunkers are well maintained.
Staff: helpful and accommodating.
Value: great deal during the week; however I've never played this course on the weekend because of its rates and no walking policy. Oh well.
Layout: great combination of holes. Enjoy #16.
This is a great "sneak a round in during the week course." Better rates and allowing walking would being me here on the weekend.
