Nice course but
The pace of play is ridiculously slow normally 12 minutes per hole turned into about 20-25 minutes per hole other than that it was a nice course.
Beautiful Course
Beautiful course, great layout and challenging. The only thing I wasn't happy with is they chose to run the sprinkler system while we played making it difficult to navigate around times. The wet grounds also gave little action to ballls hit in the fairways. Other than that I was pleased with the course.
Great Value on a nice course
For my money, Deer Creek offers the best value in the Chicago south suburbs. The only issue holding it down is the condition of the sand traps, which except for a few, is bad. Otherwise, from tee to green the course is well kept. Even the roughs are decent and trimmed. Decent layout and a few nice looking and interesting holes add to the course. Definitely worthwhile. Yes, there are better and more upscale courses (Balmoral, Ravisloe) down here, but Deer Creek is easily worth the price.

Most bunkers not playable after recent rain. Usually in better shape

Fairways perfect, greens great bit tough to read. All around excellent course for the dough.

The course is in great shape and condition. The rough was manageable and greens run true.
Deer Creek golf course
Played course before liked the layout. Had to start at the back nine due to tourney going on at the course. When I made the turn front was backed up and was given a ranchers to come back and play. Very disappointed couldn't play 18.
Pace
It took my partner and me 2.5 hours to shoot 9 holes. The Pace of the course was not monitored or organized. We had to call the pro shop to notify them of the problem. We were told well it's a Sunday. No. I don't accept that answer. There were many four somes waiting for the group in front of them to get off the green before they teed off. We quit after 9 holes, received credit for the 9 holes not played and went to the bar and sure enough within an hour more players came in with the same complaint. The staff were kind and courteous of which we were appreciative. Just needs better course monitoring and management.
Course in Great condition but need to spray for mosquitoes!
Had much fun at Deer Creek but I'm still scratching and itching from the mosquito bites.
Great course
This has got to be the best value in the south suburbs. The only negative is the pace of play, but that is because some players just lack etiquette. Other than that, this is my favorite course to play for the price.
