good course
Fun course some challenging holes. A few too many ball marks on the greens. Cart paths need to be replaced! Lots of geese. Nothing that would keep me from coming back though.
Water issues
Every year heavy rain causes ponds to overflow. This time it resulted in two holes unplayable. Last year same issue.
They need to put a little money into some water management.. Also no one is cleaning the greens of excessive goose poop.
A beautiful course that will end up destroyed if they don’t put a little more effort into course upkeep.
A Hidden Gem
Truly a hidden gem. Challenging front nine & less easier scenic back nice.
Fairways & greens are well kept although rough is a tad longer.
Pretty empty for a Tuesday.
Staffs are very nice, very accommodating. Even shook my hand since it’s my first time playing there. That’s was such a good gesture. Very professional, welcoming.
Also, bar next door ( Tavern & Table) has one of the best burger I’ve had. Friendly staffs as well.
I would definitely comeback to challenge this course as it consumed a lot of my balls. Lol.
So my advice is prepare your swing confidence, keep it on the fairway, manage the course.
I I
Great layout -tighter than years ago.......
the trees have "grown up" wow, truly enjoyed the round.....we got rained on heavily, twice in the round...but gutted it out. The Sand Traps have a lot to be desired, they are in tough shape - plenty of water, good greens and good layout. The Beer Cart served everyone up.....Nice place - $65 with a cart was close fair, maybe a little much but it was Sunday.
Deferred Maintenance
I was surprised at how highly rated this course was. Signage is non existent as you pull into “address”. Front desk staff was very nice. Course conditions very average. Bunkers in very bad shape. I guess this course may have been nice in the day but I won’t be coming back.
Gone down hill
I used to love playing here but the last 4-5 years the course conditions overall have gone to crap from fairways to greens just not great for the money! Also pace of play the last few times we have played there have been terrible, having to wait 2-5 minutes every shot is not ideal. If you’re reading this and you take your girlfriend or wife out please do so when is not too busy especially on the weekends!
Great value!
I have played this course a few over the last year. It’s one of the best maintained courses in the area. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable providing a great experience for all.
Great Course - Need to enforce pace of play.
The course was in great shape and the staff was polite as always but they need someone to enforce pay of play. Five hours and 20 minutes for a twosome is just unacceptable at 10:30am in a Wednesday. By the time we got to the 13th hole, there was seven golf carts, waiting for us to tee off as we waited for the group of eight… Yes, eight in front of us.
First time playing Midlane
LOTS of water hazards and doglegs. I was alone and the card was no help regarding yardages so I struggled with where to place tee shots. It will be more enjoyable next time. Otherwise, the course was in good shape and a nice lot. I nearly walked, glad I didn't. There are some long green-to-tee hikes.
