About
Mystic Oak Golf Course in Waterloo has a diverse layout that seems to play a little differently each time you're on it. The layout features long, winding fairways and gently sloping greens, which are framed by a slew of strategically placed bunkers. There are also many water hazards that come into play throughout the golf course. The gently rolling terrain has subtle ups and downs that provide tricky uneven lies. The back nine is uniquely divided into three par 3s, par 4s, and par 5s each. The golf course will test your short-game skills but the lengthy par 5s offer driving opportunities for long hitters as well. Mystic Oak Golf Course is player friendly enough for a wide range of skill levels but you may be surprised to find yourself using all the clubs in your bag.

Amazing course. Challenging!
Challenging but fun course!
I will say, each time I’ve played out here though, golf etiquette is nonexistent and I always have to skip a couple holes because people won’t let me (usually always a single) play through
Great Shape
One of my favorite courses. It has improved so much over the years. Greens and tee boxes in great shape Hole #15 is more than challenging.
Fun and not too challenging
This was a fun course that was a good value. Not too challenging, but had some holes that required some strategy. Good food at the club house, but grab what you need before heading out as there are no beverage carts on Friday.
Pretty nice track
Par 4s ads a while are short. But par 3s and 5s make up the diff. Course in wry nice shape. Only 1 fairway was thin and we actually drove long and thru the typical landing area in that one. Greens very lush and a little slow but smooth.
Pace of play was 3:30 - good!! Staff accommodating and food in clubhouse also good. BBQ smelled delicious. We had the FRIDAY cod special also good!!!
First time player
I made a tee time here at the suggestion of a fellow golfer on a prior round. Interesting and challenging layout on a few holes, The only complaint would be a few of the tee boxes were a bit beat up and many were hard as a rock - trouble getting the tee in the ground. But the greens were nice (but slow) and the fairways in great condition. Tricky in spots, due to the water and some blind shots, but will know better next time I play here.
There was a tournament going on, not even a single parking spot open, had to go play somewhere else, how come you didn't know about it?
Simple yet effective
Good blend of par 3, 4, and 4’t. Course in good shape and prices extremely affordable and friendly staff
Super
This is the best course I have ever played on. I am new to golf, but this place was very well maintained. I played my best golf today, here. If only my putting was a little better. I am at the trying new courses stage, but will definitely have this course in the memory bank to be back. I didn't eat, but the bbq smoker was sure smelled really good as well finishing on 18.
Great Time!!
Enjoyable
First off, nothing to do with the course personnel. People, fix your ball marks. You can’t be that lazy or stupid! Overall we had a great round. The course was in good shape, a bit of grass clumps in the recently mowed fairways but nothing a foot wedge couldn’t remedy. Clean, newer carts that ran well. Yardage markers were close to exact distances. The price was the best, a buck a hole. Fantastic! We’ll be back. Thanks!
