About
Mystic Oak Golf Course in Waterloo has a diverse layout that seems to play a little differently each time you're on it. The layout features long, winding fairways and gently sloping greens, which are framed by a slew of strategically placed bunkers. There are also many water hazards that come into play throughout the golf course. The gently rolling terrain has subtle ups and downs that provide tricky uneven lies. The back nine is uniquely divided into three par 3s, par 4s, and par 5s each. The golf course will test your short-game skills but the lengthy par 5s offer driving opportunities for long hitters as well. Mystic Oak Golf Course is player friendly enough for a wide range of skill levels but you may be surprised to find yourself using all the clubs in your bag.

Pace of play
Was only bad due the twosome playing with us - they had no concept of golf etiquette or keeping up with pace of play !
Great Greens
Enjoyable course to play. Greens were in great shape.

Fun course
This course was enjoyable. I played in the early afternoon on a Monday and never had to wait for anyone in front of me during my round. The course had trees, lots of water, and elevation changes so it was a fun challenge. The tee boxes could've been a little better, but the course was in pretty good shape.
Pace of Play
The pace of play was so much better this time around compared to last time I played here. Not sure if it's cause I played here on a Friday instead of the weekend like last time. The greens have improved as well. The fairway and tee boxes could improve but for the price I can't complain.
Best Value I’m the area
Hadn’t played Mystic Oak since last year and conditions were really great- for the $32 price tag especially - tee boxes, fairways and greens all in great shape - as with other courses just wish golfers would fix their ball marks - other than those holes in the green- they were best I’ve played all year !!
Always a hit!
This course has seen tremendous improvements over the years since the name change from “The Ridge”….Although there’s more work to be done, it’s a awesome track and the staff is genuine and helpful! Thanks to the new superintendent of grounds for the magnificent work overall
