Acorns Golf Links

Today was a good day. Course was in very good condition and played the best 9 holes, on the back 9 in my life. Shot 1 over Par which is great for me. This course is great and worth the 50-55 minute drive for me. Hit em straight and you will be rewarded.

We have played Acorns for years. They are constantly working to improve the course and amenities. Play was slow on Saturday, but it was a holiday weekend. Greens were in great shape.

Nice day for a twosome. Adapting for tee box and handicap we had a close game on a course that offered us both excellent challenges.

Did a later tee time today and the course was busy. We had a group of teens (4) in front of us and they were playing from the blues. We sat for a bit and didn’t hear anyone hit a ball so we peeked around the weeds and there was a shoving match going on up on the tee box! I assume it was over because they were all over the course, on the left and the right sides, no one close to the fairway… To say it was a long front nine ( 2 hrs. 50 min) was an understatement. They went in at the turn and we went on by. Last 9 holes; 1 hr. 55 min. but we’ll be back. Enjoy the course layout and the golf carts are great as well.

Somewhat challenging course in good condition. Greens were true with nice speed.

Decent price point comparatively in the STL area.Fairways that have grass and the ball sits up nicely. Greens in great shape with decent speed. Carts that actually have a little pep. Pace of play was good. Driving range to warm up. Clubhouse had good selection of food and drink. Staff was actually very nice. A lot better than other courses with some old white angry retired guy yelling at you to "Get these carts back by 6pm and get off my lawn!" Good course. Will play often.

Love this course. It is so beautiful. It has some challenging holes but it is a great course to play for anyone.
