Good times
Really nice course and very friendly staff. The people here alone make it worth your while to attend. This course was in really good shape and the weather this day was perfect. No complaints. Except the price could be a little lower, but definitely reasonable rates and good degree of difficulty.

Not worth price
Greens were okay but tee time and fairways were beat up with some yellow. Course is short and boring. Narrow in spots a joke for $60 on a Weds morning.

Great shape
After some turf challenge in the past, course is now lush and top-top shape. And pace was outstanding for a Saturday.

Great course for the money
I was pleasantly surprised with Wilmette Golf club and will be playing again soon. The course is in great condition considering all the rain we've had and the greens runs very true. Layout is pretty narrow and challenging and from the black tees proves difficult. The carts have GPS and USB outlets which is a nice touch. Facility is nice as well, although there was a wedding reception taking place so I didn't get to check out the bar/restaurant area.

All around great experience.
Always a great round at this pretty challenging course. Actually got caught up at 10 and paired up with another twosome, who were super cool. Thought the back nine would be much slower but moved very nicely. Course was in good condition. Stopped in the bar afterwards and had a really great craft beer. Definitely be back soon....
Good track at a Fair value
We signed up for a Hot Deal for a midweek round. Due to the rainy weather in Chicago, they were not letting carts out on the course. Pro Shop took good care of us, giving us range balls & hand carts and went out as 2 some. Finished in 3 1/2 hours walking.
Great shape
Course is in prime condition-the greens are smooth and fast, the fairways are green and lush, the rough is consistent and thick.

Great greens / Bad Fairways
Greens are in great shape but a lot of the Fairways are in bad condition. Not grown in or burned out.
Great course to play it often.
I purchased the 2018 season pass, and I enjoyed playing there. The pro shop staff was, from day one, friendly and welcoming. The course is challenging for players of all levels. I definitely recommend it, and most likely will join it again next year.
Nice and Friendly
I like to play at Wilmette GC as often as possible. It offers very easy access coming from the city, early hours for us that have to work, friendly staff.
Good overall
My friends and I had fun on this course. It's unfortunate that it was wet and the greens were recently punched, but we didn't have trouble playing.
One down side was we thought we were getting motorized golf carts, but we got walking carts. We didn't mind because we needed to get the steps in anyway.
Solid Course
The tee boxes and fairways were all in great shape. The only problem was a few of the greens. At least 4 were in pretty bad shape with mud, ball marks and spine marks. Could have been that I played in the afternoon but I haven’t seen them like this before. Friendly staff and a challenging layout. Will be back.

Great layout bad fairways
This could be best muni course on North Shore if only the grass was in better shape. Nice layout, fast greens, bunkers in good shape, but man the fairways kill the experience. Pace of play was good too. Hope grounds crew can perform some magic on grass though
Where Have All the Fairways Gone?
I have played Wilmette for many years and was excited for the renovation in 2014. I love what they did to improve all aspects of the course. But there have been consistent problems maintaining the fairways in even moderately good condition. After a promising spring, 2018 is no different. The fairways are hard, bare in many spots, crusty in others, and rarely lush. Not sure what the problem is, but I think I’ll make this course a once in a while stop rather than my ‘go to’ golf course.
Horrible shape
Been playing here for 20 years. Worst shape ever. Greens are fine. Fairways are horrendous.
"We’re not quite sure what you’re referring to regarding the course conditions." Wilmette management has responded several times to negative comments about fairway grass conditions. They must be in denial. I believe every fairway on the course has some section that is either roped off or sections of "grass" (dirt with hope of grass) that are not very playable. Holes 5, 6, 9, 10, 13, 14, and 15 are significant sections in bad shape. I appreciate that the grounds crew may be working hard, but that is akin to a "participation award"---fairway grass conditions are not good.
