Nice public courseThat I haven’t played in years. The renovations over the years improved a nice public course

Miss the snack bar!
Course was in good shape with nice fairways and decent greens. I have seen them in better condition over the years so they are not quite at their best. The rough is thick and a pain in the butt.

Heavy Rough
My only complaint is that the rough was ridiculous. Even if a ball slipped a foot off of the fairway, best of luck finding it. Aside from that, the course was fun & the staff was very friendly

Stalwart of a course
I have played here hundreds of times over the last 20 years and it has always been a challenge. I tend to spray it off the tee and I pay the price every time. Some holes demand that you work it left or right off the tee and the greens are always in excellent shape. If you miss a putt, it’s your fault. A little mushy in spots due to the rain. Year after year, I have never seen a course take as many rounds as it does and stay in such great shape. The only gripe I have is that it’s a bit pricey with a cart on the weekends. But that is the price to pay for being the best course closest to Chicago. The restaurant is currently being remodeled so I couldn’t give it an excellent rating.

Great job on the 2022 season upgrades!
Tees are in great condition. New cart paths work well, even for walkers. Greens are slow but ‘true’. Fairways are coming along well, given the season just started. Like the improvements on 6.
and 14.
