The course was in great condition and played very fast.
The greens were among the best I've played all year; fast, smooth and few ball marks. A wide spread on yardage from different tee boxes. Good landscaping and each hole is unique.
A very challenging course and in good shape.
The course was in pretty good shape after the rain they had the night before.
If you hit em straight
This course is always a challenge for me. I hadn't played it in a few years. The front nine is pretty straight forward. The back nine starts out with a par 4 and a par 5 with water on both sides of the fairway. It is fun. The course is well maintained. The greens are fast.
This course was in great condition the greens excellent.
The course IS IN GREAT CONDITION. The greens were running at 11. They were holding shots. This is a must course to play again. The greens are 2 levels so pin placement is a must to know. Fairways were in great shape.
Fantastic course!
Seven Bridges is one of my favorite courses. I am a beginner-intermediate golfer, and this is a DIFFICULT course. However, it is so beautiful, with interesting hole layouts. At times, it seems that you are playing two holes in one -- just when you think you are nearing the green, it's time to go way over the creek to approach the green. A bonus is getting a great deal on the greens fees through Golf Now!
fun, challenging
already knew reputation as good course. had played years earlier. lived up to it. tough but mostly very fair. very good condition. good pace of play. bring a few extra balls.
Outstanding Track, one of the Best in Chicagoland
Course was in outstanding shape. very challenging, but fun. Keep your driver in the bag for 1/2 of the par 4's and you have a chance to score well. Greens were in amazing shape, and fun.
Great course. Very challenging back 9.
Country Club golf in a public setting. The front nine is challenging but fair the back nine is extremely tough. They give you a divot repair tool to repair divots free of charge at the first tee. Anyone who is golfing this course should be a good enough golfer to own their own divot repair tool, but it shows they care about the condition of the course. Great day of golf.
One of my favorites in IL
Great course with very friendly people. Challenging but fair front 9 easier than back. Back 9 target oriented holes. The starter was 1 of the nicest and informative starters I've ever had. Came by twice to check that we where doing well. Started us off on the 10th so we weren't stuck behind some slow players. I had a great time and the course was in great shape. Expensive over $100 to play I got on for $50, well worth it. Only draw back and a minor one is on range, just putting chipping green. If you are looking for a challenging course and can afford it
Challenging golf course - not a great vaue for the money
I really enjoyed playing this course! The pin placement made the course really difficult to score on which made the day great! However there are less expensive courses in the area that are better maintained and thus a better value!
Top 10 public course in Illinois
The conditions were great. Very fast greens (likely a 12-13). I beleive there was a club championship during the week we played (round was Friday and tourament was on Sunday). Cart girl was friendly and came around often enough. This place is a driving range short of being a very high caliber championship course. I think the standard rates are too much but with the golf now it is a great deal. The back nine is extremely difficult, you have to hit some great shots otherwise you will take penalties. It was a nice day but the back destroyed me.
Liar
I was early for my tee....saw online they were not booked. Asked the tool at the pro shop check in could I go a little earlier?? Since your not booked and I'm a single??? He said no sorry we are booked....I laughed!
So the ranger says to me when im out putting around waiting for no reason are you ready we have a slot?? Of course right???
Why did the tool want to be so difficult for an easy task?
Ashame because everyone else seemed friendly although I think management looks like tools as well....comes from some place!
7th Heaven
All views from Tee boxes were scenic, greens were clean and pristine. The fairways are wide and easy to locate your ball if you end up in the rough.
The staff were so helpful in getting you ready for your round of good fun. Also one of the finest golf GPS with scoring that I ever used built in the cart here in Illinois.
The course is very tough and so challenging. So bring a lot of balls if you are same level as player like me. If I see the same deal again here in GolfNow as I got this one, I'll definitely play here again.
Nice Track, Fast Greens, Worth the Trip
First time playing there and I will be back. Target golf is a must, with lost of hazards in play. The back side is far more intimidating off the tee. The greens are perfect, if you see it you can roll it.
Great Course
Seven Bridges is a great course and great property. I'm surprised people don't do the math and realize 7B is just as expensive as any of these other 1/2 rate course once you factor in paying for a cart. This is not an average golf course and is worth the extra few bucks. Warning, it's a lot of course to bite off for the novice golfer so if you want to know what you really shoot head on out. The varying style of the front and back nine's really challenge even the best players, especially from the tips. There golf cart GPS system is by far the best I have seen at any course and is super accurate so there is no question how far away you are even if your WAY off line. The pace of play is always really good too and makes up for paying a little more. The 16th hole may be the most challenging hole in the western suburbs. Especially if it's a back right pin placement.
The course was excellant, as was the staff.
Seven Bridges was in great condition. The Greens were true and moderately fast. The fairways were perfect.
Beautiful fairways with mature trees and large greens
Enjoyed it but the back nine is much tougher than the front
NOT A $100 Course
While the layout and setting of the course is very nice, the maintenance is sub-par. The grass that is called the rough is just tall grass with some weeds mixed in. Grass clippings everywhere. Not on par with even a $50 green fee. It is one expects from George Dunne-Great course but not for a premium fee.
Other issues: No water until the 8th hole and no beverage cart until the 11th hole. One might get the impression that they are trying to drive the revenue for the snack bar at the turn.
the cart had to be replaced after the 9th hole because the GPS kept chirping throughout the first nine.
SLOW PLAY
The golf course is in good condition and can be a very hard course to play. I like the front nine better than the back nine because the front is more traditional and the back has more gimmick holes. The pace of play was horrible! It took 5 hours as the two groups in front of us were playing from tee boxes they had no business playing from. The group in front of us ended up a hole behind and we did not see a ranger untill the 17th hole,I told him he was kind of late. I would never pay over a hundred dollars to play this course.
AWESOME Course
Beautiful course. Tough course, must place shots to stay out of trouble.
