Nice Track, Fast Greens, Worth the Trip
First time playing there and I will be back. Target golf is a must, with lost of hazards in play. The back side is far more intimidating off the tee. The greens are perfect, if you see it you can roll it.
Great Course
Seven Bridges is a great course and great property. I'm surprised people don't do the math and realize 7B is just as expensive as any of these other 1/2 rate course once you factor in paying for a cart. This is not an average golf course and is worth the extra few bucks. Warning, it's a lot of course to bite off for the novice golfer so if you want to know what you really shoot head on out. The varying style of the front and back nine's really challenge even the best players, especially from the tips. There golf cart GPS system is by far the best I have seen at any course and is super accurate so there is no question how far away you are even if your WAY off line. The pace of play is always really good too and makes up for paying a little more. The 16th hole may be the most challenging hole in the western suburbs. Especially if it's a back right pin placement.
The course was excellant, as was the staff.
Seven Bridges was in great condition. The Greens were true and moderately fast. The fairways were perfect.
Beautiful fairways with mature trees and large greens
Enjoyed it but the back nine is much tougher than the front
NOT A $100 Course
While the layout and setting of the course is very nice, the maintenance is sub-par. The grass that is called the rough is just tall grass with some weeds mixed in. Grass clippings everywhere. Not on par with even a $50 green fee. It is one expects from George Dunne-Great course but not for a premium fee.
Other issues: No water until the 8th hole and no beverage cart until the 11th hole. One might get the impression that they are trying to drive the revenue for the snack bar at the turn.
the cart had to be replaced after the 9th hole because the GPS kept chirping throughout the first nine.
SLOW PLAY
The golf course is in good condition and can be a very hard course to play. I like the front nine better than the back nine because the front is more traditional and the back has more gimmick holes. The pace of play was horrible! It took 5 hours as the two groups in front of us were playing from tee boxes they had no business playing from. The group in front of us ended up a hole behind and we did not see a ranger untill the 17th hole,I told him he was kind of late. I would never pay over a hundred dollars to play this course.
AWESOME Course
Beautiful course. Tough course, must place shots to stay out of trouble.
July 2, 2013 Seven Bridges
Seven Bridges is the tale of two nine's and one maintenance issue. The front nine starts out with an uphill par 5. This is my favorite nine with a mix of difficult 1,7,8,9 and strategic holes 2.4 and 5.The greens were quick, in great shape and putted well. The back nine is a bit quirky....couple of the holes have odd angles to play.
The one maintenance issue was that some of the bunkers did not have much, or seemingly any, sand in the bottoms. You got to clay pretty quick.
Overall the course was in very good shape. The staff and facilities are excellent. I will be happy to go back and play this course soon.
Fun but challenging.
Front nine very playable. Back nine lots of water but fair.
Course needs work
The course needs more attention.I got a hot deal for$70 bucks and I would only rate this course for $45 max.I have played many other courses In the Midwest that were in pristine condition for the money spent. The greens were like putting on the kitchen floor. The bunkers need better sand. There could be a lot more foliage and flowers considering they have more than half the holes with free water running through the course.
Big difference btw front 9 and back 9.
Front nine is fair and enjoyable. Back nine tough-weaved back and forth over water. Sand traps were not well maintained-- hard clay underneath. Course demands accuracy. If not accurate, there will be many blind shots. GPS is a must.
As long as keeping the low price, it would be great!
Please try to avoid the CarT Pathy Only as best as you can.
tick tock
In the courses defense it has rained quite a bit lately. However, the greens were pretty chewed up which was frustrating. In addition, the 5:20 minute round was painful. I realize that 10 am tee time on Saturday will be slow, but this was terrible. Everywhere I looked golfers were waiting to shoot. Figured we would be OK to play 18 and then catch the Blackhawks game (4pm) by the time we got out it was almost game time, resulting in listening to the 1st period in the car
Good course
Good course looking forward to another round later this year.
Nice course will manicured
I did play this course multiple times I do make arrangement for golf outing in the golf course the staff very friendly and knowledgeable I do invite friends to play that course for the challenge and the service.
Tough but exciting layout.
Conditions were bad because of the severe flooding recently, however this is a very nice course, and well designed. I will try it again this season.
the course needs much work because of the rain, not by their poor maintenance
we enjoyed the couse just the same and hope that the course will recover soon with better weather.
Nice course
Nice course overall. Very challenging, especially if you're not accurate off the tee. A few spots are still recovering the flood, but very well maintained otherwise. Pace was good, 10 minute tee times are a plus. Houses only come into play on one or two holes also a plus. Their regular rates seem a little steep, but would certainly play again if I found another GolfNow deal.
nice course ,would like to see it in summer
nice course to play.It will be much better when its got leaves and the course was dry.I went on cold ,windy and wet day and it was in ok condition
This course has great features
Second time at sevenbridge. Very changing and beautiful course.
