Not pretty, but fun
This course is located next to a landfill, and there is a constant parade of trucks dumping their loads. Overlook this! It's a blast to play. Fairways wide most places but there are a few sneaky water hazards. The greens are quick and hard and very contoured but I found them fairly easy to read. It was windy (and I was told that it's always windy) and that added to the challenge. I really enjoyed it. Minor complaint about the group in front playing terribly slowly, and no ranger on duty. But i would certainly play it again.

Fun track
Shepards Crook is a course you need to play, and probably twice so that you are familiar with the hole layout. Conditions were very good and place of play was good even with the number of walkers and people with pull carts.

The course is always in great shape.
The course is maintained very well and they even cleaned out some of the wilder areas which makes it easier to find wayward shots.

I Love this course
I love this course, but they need ti figure out a way to fit in a driving range or some warm up nets. Course was in primo condition. Staff was awesome as usual. Will be back again soon.

Great links style course on the IL/WI border.
This is a challenging course in calm weather. It becomes even more challenging with thick rough and the wind up. It is fun and the staff and patrons are always pleasant.
