Great day for golf.
The course was in good shape. Well mowed. Since no real recent rains in our area, you could sure tell where the irrigation ended. Greens were wet but well groomed. I'll be back to play now that the heat has let up.
Great course.
Very much enjoyed our round of golf. The course offers vastly different terrain and course management between the front and back 9. Views were amazing and the course was in great shape. Staff greeted us before and after our round. Would recommend a stop if your ever in Jasper.
Always in good shape
I've come to expect good conditions at Buffalo Trace. Despite lobbying to blow up # 13, I always enjoy the course.
I will say the greens are the slowest I have seen there, but the course is in good shape.
Shades of The Donald Ross
We drove in to stay the night in the majestic French Lick Springs hotel, and to play the Donald Ross the next day. This course proved an able warm-up. A fairly easy front nine, and wide-open views. However, the back side veered into the deep woods where there were a host of blind shots and tight driving holes. Greens were slightly elevated and fell off to the sides so this was a good warm-up for The Donald.
Needs a lot of work
I know it’s early in the season but the fairways are some of the worst I’ve seen in state. Back nine feels like a completely different golf course with several holes that boomerang through the woods. Not my style personally..
Glad I picked this course! Layout was fun, yet challenging (especially when you get to the back nine), course was in great shape for early spring, and the greens were solid (maybe a bit slow, but rolled well). Played with a couple of local guys and had a great afternoon. Would definitely play here again.
Great
We picked a terrible day to golf, but the course was in good shape, and the staff were great
Excellent
Course was in excellent shape for this time of the year. Greens held and rolled true. Fairways were in excellent condition and the rough wasn’t overly thick. Great experience for a 20.99 Hot Deal!!
Buffalo Trace
Course is in perfect shape. Both 9 holes seem like playing two different course. Absolutely love the course
