Course is a wonderful layout.

For this time of year it was in great condition

Overall the course is good. It's not a terribly challenging course though. Things to know. There is no driving range. The 17th tee box is closed so they moved the tee box up so far that the hole no longer makes sense. The hole is now 260 yards from the white tees with a dog leg right. I had to play a gap wedge from the tee box.

They are really keeping this course nice now. It was couple of years since played there but now they are maintaining the course.

The greens were recently aerated, however you must sacrifice to maintain the best greens anywhere in Indiana. Great old course, friendly and knowledgable staff, A great Men's Club that values and takes care of the course. And a superintendent and staff that create a course that matches up with any course in the area.

We showed up 15 minutes early and we started 10minutes before tee time so that was nice. We offered the people behind us to play through right away and they said they were not all there yet. We had a slow first hole but we still finished it right at our tee time. The people playing behind us said they want to play through on the second hole after we hit our first shot on that hole. We told them that was fine. The club house came down and said to pick up the pace. We took 10minutes on the first hole so how is that to slow. We ended up finishing 10minutes behind the people that complained and the people behind us did not have to wait at all. We finished at the 4hour mark. We thought that was rude to come up to someone that early.

Greens are very good. New tee boxes on 16 and and 18. 17th hole is flooded but trying to fix it. Everything else was good. Will be back

Have played here a few times over the past few years and every time has had slow pace of play.

The tee off time was 9:30 AM. The mowing crew followed us on the entire front and two on the back and never turned off their mowers as we putted on the greens. Cart lady delayed our pace of play with the group in front of us. Clubhouse staff was very friendly. For the value, I will avoid this course in the future.
