Angry ranger
First time on the course, and bought a 4 some. One member didn’t show, so we had 3 in our group. A solo player was behind us and we let him play through us. Course ranger rolled up on us irritate, saying we need to give up our cart. We calmly explained he isn’t with us just playing through. He didn’t like our answer and ran to get a manager. Who proceeded to attempt to steal our cart while we waited at the next hole. Course ranger refused to apologize, and spent the next 3 hours following our 3 some on the course.
Slight delay for tee time, no worries got set up to go in plenty of time. Enjoyed the outing!
Turkey Creek 2024
Pace of play was ok. Some of the course was dry. Greens very fast. For the price it was ok.
Terrible customer service
I booked 18 holes with a cart through the app. Took my boys and played nine holes in a little over two hours when we went to make the turn we were told we had to wait at least 30 minutes for a league to start. The league starts at 3:30. We were ready to make the turn at 3:15 but were told we couldn’t. We were not given a rain check option and we’re treated very poorly despite the fact that we remained polite and we’re never made aware that there was a league teeing off until we got to the 10th hole.
Great bang for buck
Nice course,
undulating greens in good condition
Putts will make or break your score
Few geens have small trouble spots
I've played this course few time in the last few years and it seems to improve slightly each time
Sand traps aren't abundant but seem to be in good condition . Fair ways are mostly in good condition with the exception of one or two but like I said improving
I shoot between 88 and 95 here my handicap 20.5
Good value for an average course
Course is not a top rated course, but you don't pay a high green fee. Tee boxes good, most greens good, numerous bad spots on fairways, but you just move your ball.
Ranger *ick
First off, they kept the place open while having an ‘amateur league’ playing. So we were all piled on top of each other.
The ranger said something to my cousin and I about hurrying up, when we, two girls, were right behind the boys.
He then told the guy behind us to just go while we were still on the hole and one of us almost got hit. He later proceeded to tell the guys we were with to keep the pace going and let the girls know to ‘pick up their balls’ if we aren’t moving along.
I’m not saying I’m a pro, but we kept up with the pace of everyone else and were the only ones constantly being told something. Last I checked we all paid to be there.
Any other day I’m sure this place may be fine, but annoying first experience.
Great price
Good public course for the price. Played a twosome done in 3 hours. Can play slow on the weekends. Plays way faster weekday s
Quintessential Goat Ranch
The fairways were a little soggy due to heavy rains the day prior. Tee boxes are poor, greens have sections of burn out or weed infestation at various places on several holes. Several fairway's have multiple mud holes, and sections of grass that's dead, or flooded. Looks a little like Iraq after a US bombing raid!!!
Lots of 'Tiger Woods' wanna bees with absolutely no golf etiquette whatsoever.
4:45 hr pace of play was slow for this track.
Ovoid it if you want a better golf experience...however if you want to be frustrated by the conditions and pace of play and rude golfers....you've found Nirvana!
One of the rangers was not very kind to our group. Claimed that we were slowing the pace of play down when no one behind caught up until we got to the 3rd hole par 3. Way better courses to play and not be harassed like this place does.
