Woodbury Golf Course

So first of all the lady at the front desk was not friendly whatsoever. We were gonna buy some stuff, but she completely turned us off in the gift shop. Then we get on the course which looks like it hasn’t been mowed or printed or taken care of in years. The tea boxes were rough. It was hard to figure out where you were supposed to tee off from, the yardage was completely inaccurate on the scorecard. Then their scorecard is crazy names every hole, and there’s no room for names and numbers on the scorecard. Once youfinally make it up to the green after losing ball after ball after ball because of the manicured course, there are differences and stripes, and the holes are placed in incorrectly. We definitely thought it would be better for the money. Also, definitely won’t be back again.

Course was great! Brought out my oldest child and he had a blast. I wish I could give more stars to the staff. The lady that helped us was super friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back again with my other kids.

Not a bad course of all had it's own set of challenges. Can't complain about course conditions at the end of a season. Overall it was a good first visit will be back.

I was able to play this course over the past weekend after finding a deal through the app. For the price I thought why not. It was early fall so I had the course pretty much to myself. The course was in pretty bad shape. Some areas were under construction which is understandable for not being in to great of shape. However, many fairways had large areas of dirt, tee boxes we very uneven and bad shape (not mown, dirt, etc.). The real issue I had was that course layout on the back 9 was very confusing. I often played the incorrect hole before realizing my mistake. Some of the greens were tucked away in the woods and were incredibly small. On several occasions I drove the cart further ahead to the green to see if it was actually the green due to their placements. For the money I guess its was alright. If I were to recommend, I would advise to play in the springtime (hopefully the fairway dirt patches are actually grass).

The fairways are basically yellow grass or dirt. The greens are fairly well kept but very spongy and slow. Pace of play was absolutely awful. We had booked a tee time but 3 groups were allowed to go ahead of us. What's the sense of having a tee time? This is most likely the last time I will ever play at this course.
