Golf here all the time but I will not be back
Pro shop lady was horrible and so much so that I like this course but I will never play here again. I don't mind being paired up but she made me ride with this guy that's all hot and sweaty. I asked nicely about not riding together and like the guy just had covid. She also lied to me just to get her way. She said short on carts but old guys posted up after the round 3-4 carts in parking lot. 8+ carts lined up while washing adding more. she was just real mouthy over nothing then she made me wait 10 min just to pair up (like I have other plans later tonight) and put us together with a couple to make 4 some when a 2 some right behind us. She should have just singled us up and put 1 each to make 2 3somes. It was embarrassing she also come out yelling at me cause i drove up to tee to wait for who i was paired up with. she yelled at me told me to get back so this guy could ride with. place went down hill fast! She has no idea what is going on. I would have walked out but already paid on golf now. I want my $24 back terrible experience

Great course
The natural setting of this course with all the geese, cranes, squirrels, turkey, deer, ect., just adds to the golfing experience. The course is challenging and has a lot of trees, but still fun to play. Only one hole that you have to shoot over water (if you play regular tees). Pro shop personnel are always pleasant and helpful. Also has a nice concession area.

Elbel Colf Course. South Bend beauty in the country.
I always enjoy playing Elbel. For a fairly dry summer the general course was in very good shape. Fairways and greens were in fine shape. Greens were medium slow. If you got off the beaten path, the course had some hardpan and they quit mowing (to save time & money) in big areas. Overall, a great day on the course with my 88 year old Dad and two friends. Nee a cart on this course as it is very hilly and some large walks from green to tee on most holes.

Great as always
The course is in excellent condition and the staff is as friendly as always. My only complaint is I went for a round of 9 during twilight hours and ended up being stuck behind a group of 8 who were moving very slow. Backed up my group along with 3 others.

Average to slightly above average
If you consider the price, $32 person with cart it’s pretty dang good. I don’t like courses where you have to shoot around in coming and out going traffic. Some sections of the course could use some TLC but over, pretty solid.

Good course for the money.
Course was a little wet from recent heavy rains, but was in good shape. Greens very receptive and rolled well. Price was very good for a course like this. Will be back.

Elbel is Tops! Great Greens!
Elbel is a fantastic gold course first off. It’s very challenging but fair. The greens are in fantastic shape. I can’t wait to be back and would highly recommend to anyone.
