The course was in perfect shape. The greens were fast and rolled true. Only around hol3 14 or so did pace start to slow. No problem. Staff is very friendly. This is a great value. I'll be here again.

The best value I have had all year. Greens were excellent, turf in fairways good, tee boxes showed the heavy use of the course. Played on a Friday morning and players were on virtually every hole and still played in three and a half hours.

We used to live here in south bend but moved away years ago came back here but while staying here wanted to go golf Elbe is a great course and highly recommend don't miss out on this course

This was my second time playing Elbel and I enjoyed myself a lot. The staff was helpful and accommodating. I scheduled my tee time as a single and was paired with another random single and a random twosome. The three guys I played with were a good time, respectful, and kept a good pace of play. We never really had any issues with the pace of play or waiting on groups ahead of us. I got my time booked as a hot deal so paid a competitive price of $30, and for a course in this condition that's a steal. I'll definitely be back.

Course was in great shape. The greens rolled fast sand true (some of the best I’ve played in the 30 rounds I have played this year).

Tee boxes were well seeded and level. Traps had plenty of sand and were well cared for.

Staff was friendly and pace of play was very good. Played 18 in about 3:30 minutes and parking lot had plenty of cars. The course is open enough that eve if you stray a bit off the tee you can get it back in play and not lose a ball.

They do not have GPS in carts but a rangefinder is helpful in navigating around this well maintained course.

Weekdays are a great time to play and other than the greens being firm and shots hitting the greens bouncing through them it is a very nice value and quality for the price paid.

Definitely will be back.

No kidding, that's the case most places, but you will be losing balls if you can't keep it in the fairway. Most holes have plenty of room for error, but maybe the only thing to improve would be a diagram that paints a more detailed picture of each hole. There's a small one on the score card, but it's really small and just kind of barely adequate. Very interesting holes. Plenty of ups and downs and nice big greens.

Great course, a lot of fun. If you travel along the Indy Toll Road, it is a pretty easy on and off for a round. The course was in great condition, especially for a muni. My only complaint, and it is minor, is that a ranger would be a worthwhile addition. Pace of play was a bit slow and in some cases, avoidable. Now, I was playing on a Sunday slower play is to be expected. However, some groups could have used a kick in the rear. Tip: if you don’t have a handicap, you shouldn’t be playing from the tips.

Elbel golf course is one of the nicest City courses you can play I went on golf now booked a tee time paid $17 for 18 holes with a cart. It's a challenging golf course and the scenery is absolutely beautiful.

Greens are fast and true. Fairways are looking great. Best value in town! Love this course. Staff is great too!

I would really like to see the grass cut shorter, the greens blown off in the morning. Lots of debris on the greens.

Also for the bunkers, to be raked. And leaving a rake by the bunkers so players , rake after use. Bathrooms reopened, no out johns. This is a beautiful course, but needs to be maintain better, by the city as a great asset to the city.

Have played Elbel for many years. In the pass 2 years have seen a decline. Its ashame as this could be a hidden gem for South Bend Ind.

Our cart was dying and the clubhouse personnel came out and replaced the cart within 10 min. GREAT

They weren’t letting carts out that day, I have a bad knee so I walked 9 and left
