Hills and Cranes
I’m a southern golfer from the Tennessee hills. I wasn’t expecting familiar terrain in South Bend. To my surprise, it felt like home. Tree lines, dog legs, and blind tee shots. The lost ball society t-shirts made more sense after a couple in the rough…lol. Staff was great and friendly. See you next time Hellbel

Pace of play.
There was zero etiquette for allowing singles to play through. Slow foursomes holding up pace of play. Its not an isolated incident. Last 5 times playing here its been the same issue.

Course drains nicely after rain
Had fun as always!
Rained overnight but the course drains well so there wasn’t standing water in many places.
Fairways still had a lot of roll, and the rough was as unforgiving as always!

Nice course
Solid local course. For a Sunday, pace of play was nice. Layout was challenging with hills and trees. Greens were fast but I enjoyed my time here…

Summer fun
We’ve enjoyed golfing at Elbel all Summer. Course always in good shape. Be prepared to chip over heavy grass to fast greens! Always enjoy the wildlife too.
