I was fortunate enough to get invited to play Valparaiso Country Club on August 19th. This is an old school parkland golf course with small, tricky sloping greens. The whole course was in excellent shape from tee to green, including the sand traps. It is not overly long by today’s standards, but it will make you think. If you are not accurate of the tee you will find yourself in trouble, especially if you are playing it for the first time like myself. It has a some very interesting holes, two of them, were you need to hit your tee shot over an active road. Very cool golf course and the staff was extremely nice and professional. I enjoyed this course and would love to play it again.
