Windy
Nice track but it was extremely windy the day we played so I’d definitely would go back and play again hopefully under better conditions. Greens were in great shape but good be a little faster for my liking.
Goat Track
This course is worth playing however it’s not very well maintained. I will say the greens were in very good shape and I’m sure a little later in the season the rest of the course will be better.
I won’t rate conditions since there was a LOT of rain the night before and the traps were all ponds. Did not use off course amenities— COVID.
Old style challenge
Tates Creek is an old style golf course with tree lined fairways and gentle rolling hills. It is a bargain and well worth your time.
Clean as could be
They keep this course very clean. A local told me not to play it and I’m glad I didn’t listen. Pleasantly surprised for a city course. I would go back. Awesome greens.
Bad condition
Visiting from out of town and decided to play this course and was really disappointed. Greens were fine, but the best of the course needed to be cut, made any ball not hit in the fairway extremely hard to find, especially on blind shots which killed the fun of my round.
Wouldn't recommend playing this course until they do some major maintaining to the grass.
Tates Creek
Was not able to play because Granddaughter we are sitting this week had school canceled at 10pm the night before play. Golfnow has no customer service or you can't get refund on Hot Times. Course would have allowed 6 year old to ride along but did not want to cause a disturbance. Poor customer service fron Golfnow,
Confusion when I tried to cancel 1 person of our 4 some. System cancelled 3 spots!
Paired up
Good course but didn't like how they pair you up in groups of 4. Booked a 11:15 time with a buddy and had to wait for two more guys to come and tee up with us. I paid for 2 so should of been able to play with two.
Good for the price
Another great deal from the city of Lexington. Course is challenging in parts with lots of hills and trees, but also has several birdie holes on it. I'll be back again soon.
