Good course. Unnecessary SLOW Play
The course was in great shape for this time of year, especially the greens. Course layout was nice but pretty tight in some areas. Main main complaint is the pace of play. I played with a buddy (2 some) and we waited 10-15 minutes on every shot due to a foursome in front of us. Not only were we held up, 3 other 2 somes were held up as well. I say the delay was unnecessary because their was a ranger out on the course, knew what group was holding up play, and refused to say anything to them. We waited 20 minutes on the 18th tee before we got too frustrated and left before we got a chance to tee off.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Good except
No water no ball washers some patrons hit mulligans in crowded condition

Very fun course
Course was in great shape. Greens were great as well. It will be a fun course to learn as there are several scoring holes. Only recommendation to the course is to check their carts. My cart seemed as though it had no shocks and was a very rough ride that was uncomfortable. If that’s the only thing negative to say, they are doing a great job.

Still a great place to play a casual round
Clean facilities and friendly staff make this a nice course for a change of pace. Sundays are always slow no matter where I play and this was the same. Course was in decent condition and greens were running pretty true at a reasonably fast speed. It's definitely time to do some work on the cart paths...please! Staff was helpful and friendly as always. Definitely worth playing.

Pace of play/ large groups
Paid for 18, took over 3 hours to get to the 9th hole. The starter made the first tee a free for all. There were 5 somes and 8+ groups. 20-25 minutes between holes. At the turn there was a line of 4 groups waiting in front of us at the 10th tee. Called it a day 18 would have taken 8+ hours.

Hidden Gem
We were paired up with a single and had a blast. It poured the first 2 holes, but the course drained well, and we were off the paths by the turn. The course is beautiful. I would call it "rolling". Not extremely hilly. I think there is 1 house on the entire course. Beautiful view of the river when you pull in. The greens were some of the best public greens I've ever rolled on. Can't wait to play Hickory again.

Great Course
the course was great, nice cart, paired up with 2 other guys and a son and could not have asked for a better experience. beautiful views and lots of challenges. i will definitely be back.

Hickory sticks
I have enjoyed playing this course in the past. During this round we were rushed off of each hole by the sprinklers because they had an afternoon scramble. Staff immediately rushed us upon checking in and again at the turn. If there isn't enough time to play a round at a comfortable pace, don't sell the tee time. The way the staff treated us ruined the experience and made it not worth the money. Hope to have a better experience if I go back.

A hidden gem!
This course was in immaculate shape! Pace of play was awesome, but in fairness, we were one of the last foursomes to go off as they were preparing for a golf outing. But I will be golfing here more in the future. The course if out in the middle of nowhere and a one late street to get to. But once you get there, its a golfers paradise!! Highly recommend!

Fathers Day outing
Course was great! Will be back. Courses like this on these busy days need a ranger to keep up the pace of play. Group in front of us had no clue about pace of play which made it very frustrating. I heard arguments between players, just not good course management.
