Semi Private golf course near KY Lake, KY
The greens are Bermuda grass and are known for being fast. The greens are elevated, sloping from back to front, making the approach shot to the green tricky. You don't want to be above the hole on these greens.
There are five or six teeing areas for all the holes and all have been USGA-rated. The course could be long and a struggle for senior women, but playing from one of the forward, forward tees, green & silver, the game becomes fun again. Come out and play Calvert City CC.
Greens
The greens were smooth and fast with alot of slope. Very challenging. The entire course was exelent.
Great course
Conditions always great, fast greens, perfect fairways(when i hit them).
Excellent course
Fairways are perfect as long g as you hit them. Greens are FAST.
No Rain Check
Heavy rain after 5 holes. Asked for a rain check, and the attendant said no due to paying online. I didn’t want money back, only a rain check to play another day. Otherwise the course is great.
Good gokf
Course conditions are the best on the area. Fairways are lush. Greens are fast.
Almost perfect
They currently have two greens on the back that are under repair, so you play to a hole cut in front of the greens. Other than that everything was fantastic.
Green repair
2 separate greens under repair. No warning of course conditions, just took your money. Holes were cut in the middle of fairways for those two holes. Awful! The situation was going to be challenging as it were, wind advisory and storms the night before left it muddy. I’m not one to condemn a grounds crew, either, but I made the comment several times that it just seemed there was a lack of effort on course upkeep. Weeds were growing and greening better than the fairway grass. How are there so many issues in the first weeks of the season? Just not a good experience at all, for the money.

PACE: Played as a single, and flew thru the front 9. Caught a league/group on the back 9. There was no point in playing thru multiple groups, so I just enjoyed the course and my afternoon.
CONDITIONS: PERFECT! Never played on Zoysia grass before, but now I cannot wait to play on it again. Tees, greens, fairways and bunkers were all excellent.
STAFF: Friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The members that I came across were very friendly as well.
VALUE: Got an online deal time, so I'm not sure what the full rate is. But whatever the full rate is, the course is likely worth it.
LAYOUT: Took a cart when I played, but I would walk the course next time. There's a hill by the clubhouse, but other than that the course is flat/walkable. The front 9 has a lot of "cut-able" dogleg par 4s, and the back has longer, straighter par 4s. All of the par 5s are fun.
A great day at the golf course
We drove down from S Illinois for a one day golf getaway. Really nice I highly recommend.

Love this Course
Perfect mix of a challenge (from the back tees) with quality chances to score. Love the layout. Fairways and greens in excellent shape. Would play this course every week if I could!
