Terrible conditions
Grass on the green was fair way height
Fairway was rough height
Bunch of dead spots on the green
Bunch of old divots on the boxes
Little spray painted wiffle balls for tee boxes
Decent but good for the price
Course is very fun and odd layout which I enjoy. They downgraded their carts which was a bad move but overall fun course and good restaurant at the clubhouse so it’s well worth!
Poor course, but pretty decent value
Course conditions and hilly conditions made play very challenging. Very poor greens made putting terrible. Reading greens was unnecessary as the ball had to be smacked so hard just to get the ball to the cup in a 25 foot putt. Poor lies, even in the fairway often. However, staff was fantastic and friendly and greens fees were very affordable. Play midweek was very fast.
Course is in terrible shape fairways hadn’t been mowed grass was so high u would lose ball in fairways greens had not been cut or rolled golf carts were in terrible shape the one I had wouldn’t go in reverse and front wheels would lock in turn position the food at their grill was very good nice layout pace of play was good but no one was playing course needs a lot of attention
Usually In Better Shape
I played here a couple times a week last year 2024. The course was in good shape the greens were much better. Today I lost 4 balls in the fairway, chipping just off green was like I was in the US Open, close to 5-6 inches deep. The tee boxes were not marked, we had to search for the wiffle ball markers. Not to mention the cart ran and looked like it came out of the junk yard. Not worth 30.00 we paid.
For the price it works
Appears no food on weekends. Course had a lot of rain before coming in. Staff was mowing during mid day. Not sure why they had to blow clippings on my ball and bury it. Greens are all over the place, it was like putting on pillows at some and faster on others. No driving range. Barely any stock in pro shop. Course was interesting.
Rain
Course has potential to be very nice. Unfortunately we scheduled to play after it rained 9 days in a row.
Close to home
Played because it is close. Greens were inconsistent. Some were shaggy, some cut close. Overall in decent shape. Not one of my go to courses.
Numerous Wow-Factor Holes
DL was an unexpected find and it keep getting better each an every hole I played. The extremely hilly terrain, views of the surrounding area and valleys the back 9 plays through made for a great day of golf. In an area with limited golf options, DL stands out.
Keeps getting better!
Fairways are really growing in
Greens full and getting faster
Remodeling of clubhouse is great- grill up and running-added apparel, balls, bags and gloves to the shop
Proud I’m a member
Keeps Improving
Greens really smooth, once they start the summer cutting, they will be as good as any in the Tri-State
Tee boxes and fairways starting to fill in
Have moved the tee’s back to summer play
New remodeling of the clubhouse about a month out
Really like these people and this course
Keeps getting better
Greens had been aerated week before- holes growing in nice, greens still hard and rolled well, just a few still a little hairy. New grass in fairways coming in, sand traps were raked, tee boxes maturing in as well. What is most noticeable improvement is the brush and tree’s that have been cleared away this winter.
Redoing the clubhouse and installing a new grill area- going to be awesome.
Staff is friendly and great- new ownership is awesome.
Great place to play!
Gold star treatment
I had a foursome out and we were treated like royalty.. carts were stocked refreshments were provided course is in the best shape I have seen in years. The new owners have really brought this course to the top.
