Beautiful course!
Lots of construction around the club house, does not effect the course. No concession if you drive a distance. Course fantastic, beautiful wonderful. Will recommend and play again. Friendly people.
They turned me away for having a service animal
I booked but did not play. I have a service dog, they made a deal out of it. I'll never go back. We will golf elsewhere as we have many times without issue
The future looks bright pt. 2
The spring can't come soon enough and the front reopens. Regardless I have enjoyed playing the back nine. So much that I've booked 6 rounds in the past 2 weeks. That should bode well for anyone thinking of checking out the course. Especially considering the distance I travel and abundance of options along the way. Definitely going to stay in the rotation. Kudos to John, Bob and the entire staff on a job well done with great improvements on the way.
Course under repair
This course is under repair and will be in excellent shape very soon. You play the back 9 only and for what they are having to go through it is in decent shape. This course has a bright future.
More of the same
Finally got to play the back and it did not disappoint me. Greens are some of the best around. The layout is both challenging and fun. Today was my 5th time playing the back nine. Enough said. I am looking forward to the spring and the front opening up for play. The front being closed and no food service (overseeded and the remodel) are the reasons I didn't give everything 5 stars.
Great layout!
Great layout, good tee boxes, below average fairways, mostly good turf on greens, but slow. Great value using GN Hot Deals. I will definitely go back.
The future looks bright!!!
Typical required maintenance was taking place which is understandable. I've hit the trifecta lately in that department. Played the front 9 twice, moving up on the 3's & 5's. Greens rolled well even though they'd just been aerated and sanded. The raised greens and elevation changes were nice. Most courses in the area only have a few holes like that across the entire 18. Excited to return and play the back.
Can't say enough about the staff. Great from check-in and throughout the day. After getting a tour of the latest additions (still under construction) I understand where the staff gets it from. The hospitality John showed me was above and beyond. That alone is reason enough for a return trip. The new bays and Augusta inspired 18 hole putt putt are icing on the proverbial cake. Definitely something special happening at Heartland!! Thank you to everyone
Fast
The greens are fast, course slopes a lot basically left to right. Only drawback is most of the greens are above the fairways. I would recommend playing this course
