Not worth the price
Tee boxes bad shape, fairways are burned hardly any spotting grass. Staff not friendly or helpful. Would not play again
Good course for the money
The course was in good shape but some of the greens could use some work. They were a little short staffed and the food wasn't very good. Overall I would play there again but I would pack a lunch and hopefully they will fix the bare spots in the greens.

Great place for the $ fairways not so good but still lots of challenges!!
Range and Slow Play
The clubhouse and range are under construction but need some form of warmup e.g. a net. Played behind an extremely slow 4-some for 18 holes. But course was in pretty good shape and always enjoy playing here.
Owner and golf course is amazingly bad
To start off my wife who has only played 5 times now is golfing with me. I shot a 89 and she shot a 120. We let 9 groups play through us. I know people like playing fast and in a hurry to me I don’t get that but hey play through us if you would like. On the 18th green a par 3 I let the two some behind us hit with us and we all played together being respectful. Well while we was putting our son was with us holding the flag and the group on the tee box was hollering at us. I ignored it the best I could until they finished the last hole. I asked them what where they yelling about and ironically it was the.
“ owner”. He went on to say playing 5.5 hours is to long and you don’t bring people trying to learn the game of golf out here! lol buddy the par 3 in etown is in better shape than this worthless excuse of a golf course. The range keeper on the other hand was a very nice guy and we spoke to him about joining there membership and trying there Friday night leagues. Golf is suppose to be fun and not in a hurry. I get it 5.5 hours is a long time but we also let 9 groups playing through us out of the respect for them. These rude people do not deserve anyone’s dollar instead of trying to build a replica top golf maybe focus on your fair ways and greens. My back yard is in better condition. Will never see me there and the fact that I almost spent $2150 on the family membership makes me sick. Lincoln trail is where we are heading for our membership. Might cost more but the people actually care about bringing on new golfers and taking care of there course.
good tight course
course has come along way since 3 yrs ago! new seeded fairways on back nine.. better amenities good food.. staff is courteous ...the course Marshall/starter is very good... nice course for the price!! is it the verybest in kentucky?? but it certainly is well worth the price!
good place to play
this is a good course to play they had a couple of greens that had a few bad spot on them but they will grow out when it warms up. the course was wet the day we played from rain the day before but we still had a good time. will be back when it is dryer
I need refund
I need refund because I can`t play, ; reasonable is not opened for clamate below 45F.
WORST COURSE EVER PLAYED
Fairways didn't have much grass. The course layout was terrible. Because of the lack of fairway grass the ball rolls from the fairway and because there is no rough the ball rolls into the woods. The sand traps all have washed out areas. Greens were hard as a rock and grass was long so they were super slow. This is by far the worst course I have ever played. Looks like they are more concerned about having a nightclub than a decent golf course. Definitely won't go back.
Great golf course
The staff is friendly and the food at the bar is outstanding the golf course itself has come a long way in the past few years. They have new cart paths all the way around the course which makes help even pace of play so I would recommend this course to anyone
A little rough. but enjoyable
The fairways were a little rough, but the greens were mostly in good shape. The holes are interesting.
Worth the price of green fee.
I have read some of the less favorable reviews and can say the course was in less than good condition the beginning of 2014 due to a sever winter. Many courses in our area lost their fairways. They have a new greens keeper and the course is in a much better condition. I enjoy playing there and the weekends are slower play as many courses are due to heavy volume. They are building new condominiums dedicated for packages. They have a men's morning game that allows members and non-members to have someone to play with if they are a single. Don't ty to overpower the course because it is tight and doesn't require long drives.
Big improvements being made in all Areas
They have improved all areas of the resort. the club house has had a makeover and the food and drinks are great. The Pro shop and all has good items for sale and snacks for your round and fee;s are good. Instruction with the pro Dennis will get your game back on line if you need. The course itself is going thru a make over with alot of changes and the new greens keeper is doing a great job getting them in place. I you haven't played this course in the last year then you got to see what is going on and give it a chance. I am a member there and i feel that $1100 a year which includes unlimited golf and cart for the year is a good thing. Come out and see for yourself...
