Course was not well kept. Land scaping didn't appear to be a priority. Mowers kept working while I was trying to hit. Sprawling course. Uninspired. Over priced. Would not play again

Course was in so-so condition. First nine is tight in spots. You can tell this was the added nine squeezed in after construction of housing. 2nd hole is a silly lay-up, lay-up & wedge par 5. Most of the greens were ok but a couple of them have rough patches. Back nine much better layout. Can't say I'd be excited about playing there again.

For the price of a round, you can't beat this place, especially in this area. This course is every bit as nice as some of the other courses in the area for half the price. There are some issues on the course, there was a hole where the green was being redone, but overall it is a nice course, albeit short. If you play from the whites normally, I'd suggest playing from the blues here, or leave your driver in the bag most of the time. I will definitely play here again and will use this course as my go-to when I want to get a round in and not pay an arm and a leg.

My group consisted of 1 man and three women. The white tees presented far more challenges over water and hazards than the red tees. However there were several challenges from the red tees over hazards and only one over water from the tee box. The bunkers are numerous and it helps if you are a straight hitting golfer. Some fairways are narrow and require strategy to get over the hazards and creeks if you are not a long ball hitter. I need to play this course several times this season to work on my course management and skills.

Although quite short, tee shot accuracy is a must. A lot of creek crossings and marsh areas give the course some added difficulty. Some patchy spots
on greens, but overall they rolled true. Fun to play.
My only real complaint is there is no practice range.

The course is a good challenge for the average golfer with a few tough holes for us all. Some of the tee boxes were a bit rough and there were bare spots on the fairway. Greens were nice and fast.

As a Walden community resident for 10 years, I can say this course is improving by leaps and bounds with the new management. All Traps have new sand, Big Fan on #6 green. Clubhouse remodeled. Brought in new Pro, adidas/TM clothing. Pace of play is usually 4 hours on weekend. Can walk if you like

The layout great, is not a long couse but tight fairways so keep ball in play off the tee. Greens in good shape only two greens have problems but they are trying to clean up the course and improve conditions.

Good layout and location but very poorly maintained, course usually gets worse the deeper into the summer.

Nice course, I play from their green tees (longest) which makes it around 6300 yards. Course is in good shape in general and getting better. Greens are still a little bumpy from being aerated but not really an issue. Looks like they are fixing up and replacing sand in traps.

Ever since this course went from private to public, it's like no one knows. Quick pace of play, fair conditions. Great value.

Overall course condition was good. A couple of tee boxes needed attention but nothing serious. Course plays pretty tight and challenging which requires some shot management. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

The course has some very interesting holes, and nice greens. It's pretty narrow, but not crushingly long so it's manageable. A few holes have townhouses that are just too close to the center of the fairway. #8 borders on the ridiculous. The back nine was a bit chaotic, mainly because some groups stop for lunch and some don't so there's some huge traffic jams. Also, because the homes are so close to the course, the course is their backyard so there's kids fishing, riding bikes, walking dogs everywhere. I'd have been a lot happier if this all took 3 and a half hours but we teed off at 130 pm, ran into a wall of people 6 holes later and finished at 630. The strength of the course is the par 3 and 5 holes which are all fun and exciting.

Really enjoyed playing this relatively short but challenging course. The elevation changes, blind shots, forced carries, and designated landing spots made for a tough round my first time out. get the yardage book if they have them in stock. It will be worth the money! You might be able to leave your driver in the bag for the front nine, but be prepared to hit some long irons and several lay ups. I you manage the course, you can score. Unfortunately, I didn't do that this time but plan to play again soon. I left some strokes out there I'd like to get back.

A very nice course under new management. Several improvements have been made.

This course is short, but it provides a number of challenges throughout. The greens are very large, but at the time they had been freshly aerated. I will play this course again. I know it's early in the season, so the green should be in great shape in a couple of weeks. The fairways and the rough were already immaculate.

Course needs a lot of work. Many of the hazards you can't see from the hitting area. The most positive thing about the course is their sand traps are decent.

Strange layout and a short course. Poorly maintained with huge gashes in the greens. Not worth the 35 paid through golf now.
