Wildwood Golf Course

About
Wildwood Golf Course is located about 20 minutes outside of Portland just off of HWY 30. Nestled in a quiet valley and among towering fir trees, this 5,675 yard, 18-hole course provides plenty of challenge for all golfers.
Several holes roll up and down the early reaches of the valley walls while the rest meander along the valley floor. Three creeks either run along or cut across several of the fairways and water comes into play on almost every hole.
The clubhouse overlooks the front nine and provides everything needed for a satisfying round. Whether it's golf equipment, lunch, snacks or refreshments, Wildwoods friendly staff is there to help. Take a few hours off this week and treat yourself to a round of golf at this unique course.

Great layout and beauty
Even if your game is not up to par, this course will please your senses in every other way.. It’s fun, challenging and the views are fantastic. Staff at the course are friendly and efficient. We plan to play there frequently as new transplants to this area.
Wildwood is a hidden gem
This is my favorite course in Portland for the price. Quality wise, it compares to Langdon Farms.
Best after round view!
This is a fun course, that is amply challenging. The greens are kept in good shape and the fairways are decent.
The holes are tucked together fairly tightly, but mostly work well.
The clubhouse has a great view and the service was awesome.
A great course for beginners and seasoned golfers
Wildwood is a beautiful course tucked away north of Portland about 20 minutes. I always tell people the drive is worth it, and anyone that joins me on the 1st tee usually sees why. The course starts with a 50 foot drop off tee shot onto a par 5 with huge trees around and a lake to the right.
The theme of this course is definitely elevation change. Hole 1 has the tee shot, hole 2 has a huge uphill to the green, 3 is a downhill par 3, 5 has an elevated green, 6 is a downhill par 3, 8 is an uphill par 3, and 9 is a down-then-up par 4.
On the back, you’ve got more of this with 10 emulating hole 1, 11 as a trickier version of hole 2, and 12 a more extreme version of hole 3. 15 has an elevated green as well, and the rest of the holes all have great views.
Overall, the course isn’t too hard because the creator was very conservative with bunkers. Even on the par 3s you won’t find many green side bunkers, and the water features are generally avoidable with a quick thought to laying up or going for it.
I highly recommend for anyone looking to try something new. Your money won’t be wasted.
nice course
A little bit uphill for most courses, they were really nice.. Green is good, not too fast and not too slow.
Great time
it would have been awesome without rain. Really enjoyed even with rain
Excellent Course
I play Wildwood quite a bit and always enjoy it. The course is kept in great shape and drains very well. The staff is absolutely amazing.
2 hour drive
Even after driving for 2hours to play here the first time I pulled up I was pleasantly surprised, the course looked fantastic and interesting just from first glance.
From there on in it did not disappoint, from undulating and elevated greens to water lined fairways including streams running through them and pond protected protected par 3 greens.
The staff is uber friendly and so are the other golfers on the course 10/10 will play here continually!!!
Great course
Hats off to the crew! Course was excellent and the greens were in great shape, even with the wet weather... I’ll definitely be back !
Beautiful challenging course!
Wildwood is a little off the beaten path, but very much worth the trip!
Best Course in Portland
Still the best course in Portland. 3 hour round, great conditions, in December in the PNW.
Tricky and scenic.
View of Mount Saint Helens deer and assorted wildlife.
My own private Wildwood
3rd time played this month, perhaps my favorite course in the “country”, Eagle creek is another similar gem worth the drive. I arrived half hour early and was offered to head out when ready, after warming up at a beautiful range that prepares you to think about leaving your driver in car. I had the front side to my self and was able to play as fast or slow as I pleased, I noticed 9 was set with 2 pins so I hit a provisional ball after pulling my drive over 7 and played 2 balls the whole front side. I’ve noticed considerate grounds folks mowing and blowing leaves the two times I’ve played in the last month absent. It was so surreal to play 18 with only one other person! I was able to play essentially 2 rounds in less than 4 hours I guess they had 2 pins cut for a tournament the next day, I’ll never forget this magical day on a gorgeous and well kept course.
Mixed feelings
Played course many times. I like it but for the price they need to start doing the little things that make it worth the cash. Their is almost never any water in the ball washers on the tee boxes. No marshal to ensure pace is kept so I have played lots of four hour rounds and above. Unfixed ball marks and sunflower seeds on the greens are becoming the norm. Not courses fault but true. Played Sunday without a hot deal and with a cart its like 57 dollars. For that kind of money i expect the basics to be covered. Staff is cool and I do recommend it.
