The Preserve at Eisenhower Golf Course

I am an avid traveler to different golf courses I love that I got the Local rate even though I don't live in the area but in my opinion the course is great but you really need to keep the ladies in mind! Yes there are a lot of trees but put porta potties out there so we can pee dog gone it. I like that the fairways, rough and tee boxes have grass and the traps have sand but for the love of God speed up those greens! They are entirely to slow for the price I paid. Oh and fyi if there were more places to pee y'all would SELL MORE BEER and DRINKS ON THE FRONT 9.

I enjoyed this golf course . The conditions were very good. Unfortunately we were behind a slow group, but the guys I played with had played here before and showed me the way all day.

Only problem was the hole placements hadn't been changed in a while and the greens were suffering

Great course, harder than expected, but loved the layout!

The course was an awesome value and will really develop in the fall once the turf has an opportunity to go through some seasonal changes. Enjoyed the difficulty and kook forward to returning manny more times in the future.

First time golfing here - easy check in and nice course. It was very hot hope to return on a cooler day

Greens are in pretty bad shape. I feel like they could do a better job than they are doing.

Just ok. Typical muni. Conditions are not good. Already losing the greens, they are furry, the no bunker idea isn’t appealing to me.

There are much better options that are cheaper.

Like the renovation- pace was slow- putting green closed?

Most of the holes are the same from before but flow around the property is better. Also improved practice area is nice. No bunkers help it play easier and the hummocks aren’t as gimmicky as I thought they would be. But don’t really impact play as much as a bunker would. Overall fun to play and for AA County residents it’s reasonably priced.

Day we played greens are still healing from airation which was disappointing.

This recently reopened course was in pretty decent shape but there are many places that look to need to grow the rough in. The greens were slow and bumpy with what looked like very recent micro punch aeration. The removal of bunkers on the course was nice. A few blind shots where perhaps the aiming pole in the fairway would be beneficial since no pictures on the scorecard or hole plaques. Luckily I played with a few people who have played their often, but still would visually help. A couple of the Par 5's are less then driver from the tee, but then can not reach in 2 due to hole mapping. All in all course was pretty nice and greens may have been a little slow due to the extreme heat and dry conditions recently along with the aeration. Would like to think the next time i play it, they are in better condition.

I have to say that this was a pleasant surprise to my local golf. Even though I am in DC, Eisenhower is not a bad ride if you time it right. I went out on a Friday morning early.

I love the hummocks idea as something different to bunkers. I played from the Green Tees, but will move to the Blue. I shot an 48/41 because I stunk up the first four holes, but that's why I am a 13. The new golf carts are plush. The greens rolled slow, but hear its to keep them alive with the heat and play. Fairways are very firm, but I felt like I was playing a links course which isn't bad. Had a great starter! Even thought the snack/pro shop were in a temporary structure, I still felt it was fine. I'm happy with my first experience.
