The Preserve at Eisenhower Golf Course

They had several greens punched but did not properly fill the holes with sand. Trying to put on those greens was not even worth trying. The ball would just bounce around looking for an aeration hole to settle in. Rough was very rough. If you hit it in the rough, good luck finding it. That being said fairways were in okay shape. A little soggy but it’s been raining pretty hard here.

3 holes were damaged by vandals and were under repair. Temp greens were set up in the fairways just prior to the actual greens. Discounts were offered to players who arranged tee times directly with the course. But since I booked mine on Golfnow, no discount was offered. No drinking water on course either. Overall, course is convenient but not in good shape right now.

So a few days before this round they had ATV riders destroy the greens of 3 holes. I fully expected that and have to specify that this review has nothing to do with it.

The weather the week going into this round was high 60s - mid 70s and sunny. Nothing crazy.

I’m not even kidding when I say I don’t think the grass has been watered in a week. The fairways & rough had huge patches of brown. The fairway of the 11th was just dirt. No grass. The greens were ROCK HARD. I had an 8 iron into the 10th. Perfect high flight with a bit of cut spin on it. The ball hit the front edge and bounced like it had landed on the cart path. Skipped to the middle of the green and rolled all the way off the back while going uphill. Had a pitching wedge into the 16th and it was the same thing. High flight, landed dead center before an uphill slope and got a huge bounce and rolled all the way off the back.

This course is about 45 minutes from me, played here once before this and can genuinely say I don’t think I’d go back. Especially when they’re charging $80+ on the weekends

I had been wanting to play this course since the renovation and finally got around to it. On paper it could seem repetitive, but it was far from it. Lots of different looks from the tee. The greens and surrounds are varied and interesting. The setting is beautiful and they’ve done a really good job with the natural areas. Yes, it’s a bit scruffy, but the course plays well even after a rain shower mid round. I hope the course keeps improving as it matures.

Bag drop not close to riding cart closest position. Not enough curb openings near tees and greens.

Haven’t played here in years and was very happy to see it was better than I remembered. Staff was prompt and courteous and I felt very welcome. Driving range was convenient and the mats were in great condition. No complaints about the course and the app was helpful navigating each hole.

My only complaint is that the hot dogs are $7.00. Maybe it’s the tariffs? Idk

The course was in great shape. I enjoyed the round will play again when I get a chance.

I think course is very hard for men but challenge for women.

No notification on Teeoff that cart paths only. No allowance for ada flag. I can get around with a walking stick. I walked 3.5 miles mostly going back and forth from cart paths. Curbs on paths are very dangerous with no walking paths to tees. Dangerous.

Great course that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Fun group for workers that keep things running smoothly!

This was my first time playing the course since the renovation, and it was money well spent. Course is in great shape for the time of year. Grounds crews were out with blowers and maintaining conditions mid day on a Monday. Course is a fair layout, and forward tees were perfect for my wife. Greens were in good shape, and rolled pretty true.

Will come back in season to see how nice it is once the Bermuda wakes up.

Eisenhower is always consistent with the course conditions. Good shape for a winter round. Dormant grass, no tee markers, and cart path only until spring.

Loved the layout of this course. Fairways were in in good condition but it was cart path only. Greens were excellent and very fast. The rough was very patchy and u seldom found your bsll on grass when off the fairway. Didn’t find the staff to b particularly friendly especially the young man in the golf shop who could best be described as having a smug attitude.Given one is playing in winter conditions $85 seemed s bit pricey to me.

Course is in Fantastic shape. The Greens keep me coming back. Rolling fast with pins in difficult places, led to more 3 whacks than I wanted. That's what makes this course a tough challenge. Was expecting a ton of leaves but never had an issue. Love the variety of holes.

Fairways in great condition. For the money, the best value! As a bonus, the staff has always been friendly and helpful.
