Good layout with some tricky holes
Had not played here for a while but wanted a warmup round before the Wounded Warrior largest day of golf event, Overall course conditions were good though the greens were very slow. Course will give you who;e bag a workout
Not worth the Money.
First it was cart-path only with not having any rain in the past week, just didn’t make sense. The fairways had absolutely no grass, all weeds and clover. Carts and score cards have no mapping of holes and there were several blind shots. If playing for the first time could really hurt your score. Definitely the course conditions don’t warrant the prices they are charging. Not to mention they are building a new clubhouse so esthetically not that pleasing to the eye.
Eisenhower
Layout is decent, makes you think about your shots but it’s really overpriced for what it is. Obviously the new clubhouse is u der construction but it’s always patchy and dry when I’ve ever played here and the carts are in rough shape. Maybe I’ll play again once renovations have been completed but not at current prices.
Blind Tee Shots and Cart Path Only
Blind tee shots made it hard to know when it’s safe to hit or know if you’re safe from those hitting on tee now knowing if you’re there.
Cart path only until a certain date in the next month made pace of play so slow we were yelled at by the group behind even though we ourselves were waiting to tee off. (whole course was backed up).
Course rough was very tall for amateur golf course. Greens were very slow. Rough was also in pretty bad shape in a bunch of areas.
Gas carts were pretty smelly. I could still taste exhaust/gasoline after I left the course.
I like this place but I won’t be coming back soon.
Fine Course, Nothing to write home about
Trying to leave some grace for the fact that we played early in the season, but the greens were rough. The fairways and rough were pretty patchy, but that was less consequential. I’ll probably give it another shot once the clubhouse is complete.
Give it a month
Played on a Sunday at noon, cart path only, still got around in 4 hours which was nice. Greens were very slow, and there are some area's that still need to bounce back from the winter. My advice would be to give this place about a frew weeks for spring weather to let this place grow in and we should be good to go. They're re-doing the clubhouse/pro-shop, the temp setup gets the job done, but just know it's a limited menu and so on.
Work in Progress
Like many other courses in late winter this course is a work in progress, cart path only, and without a beverage cart making rounds. The clubhouse is still under construction and in the meantime, they have made do with construction trailers and security booths. I enjoyed the day and hope for more improvement in course conditions and upgrades beyond a clubhouse while staying a good value course.
Course has seen better days
Understand it's the winter and we need to give it time, but the course is in pretty rough shape in a lot of areas. They are clearly setting sod in alot of rough spots, so hopefully it all takes, but from last summer and now, the course has seen better days.
Can’t wait for spring
Course is under construction, still a good course to play! Will be back
Great while renovating
For all the complaints I cannot fathom it just being attributed to having a bad outing from their golf perspective. The greens are decent for the renovating, the fairways are great for the renovating, the price you can’t beat for 33$ and my only nack would be pace of play
