The Timbers at Troy

Large greens that reward shots at the pin. Runup shots are an available option, so the holes are playable for different games. Hilly terrain makes club selection important, since some greens are actually two clubs uphill. Several blind tee shots, but others will have you trying to reach the par 4 in one. Good misses are needed on the" long" side. Played here several times, blue and white tees, loved it. 12 hdcpr

The pace of play was the slowest that I have ever had. We played for 3hrs. before a marshal came by. We gave up after 4 hrs. and 11 holes.

I've played this course from the blue tees and the white tees and find it to be a challenge from both.

Timbers is very well layed out and is just tough enough to challage you. Nice that the Cart girl was out early especially on a Sunday...

I've played here several times and I love the course. It's not a long course, but is still challenging.

A few random sand traps need some attention, but the rest of the course is almost always in great shape. It's not the cheapest course around, but overall a good value.

Having played this course twice before and been disappointed it was nice to play it in good condition. There are some good challenging holes and a variety of different set-ups. The greens were fast but a little bumpy due to fall maintenance. Overall an enjoyable round.

Sand traps needed work. The course was in OK condition. Fun course to play.

This course is short but not easy. My friend 5 putted the last hole and all we can do was LAUGH...

A decent little course - the fairways and traps could be in better shape though. There were quite a few larger stones in the traps - which could ding up a sand wedge pretty badly. The fairways were a bit burnt up - but considering the summer we've had, you can't really blame the groundskeepers.

This is a good local course. They have a nice practice facility and the course is always in good shape. The only complaint I have is the bunkers. Some of them are hard and full of 1/2" to 1" stones.
