Clustered Spires Golf Course

Staff was friendly. Course condition was good. Weather was perfect. Pace of play was terrible. Per the starter, they double-booked 2 time slots prior to ours. We got off 10 minutes late and it took more than 5 hours to complete our round with plenty of waiting on most holes.

Place is in great shape considering the temperatures weve had. Starter was awesome!! I mean AWESOME!!

I play with a handicap and all courses except this on have honored my request for a handicap flag. The staff at this course would not even honor my handicap tag. They insisted I show them a handicap card. They were rude and obnoxious. NO other course has treated me this rudely

I will never play here in the afternoon again. 3-some ... a 3-some ... were playing so slow that they ended up 3 holes behind the group in front of them at one point (they were teeing off #7 while the group in front of them were teeing off #9). They would take a ridiculous amount of practice swings on every shot, all playing from the same spot in the woods, falling behind with no real sense of urgency to keep up, not "ready golf". Not one marshal seen the entire round. I saw the cart girl 3 times & I even told her to tell someone in the clubhouse to come out to enforce pace of play. She even said "I've seen them no where but in the woods the entire round." Nothing was said until I was coming off #9. By that time, I was so infuriated that it no longer was fun for me, so I quit. I had to intentions of continuing to play that slow. Never again! Some of us don't have all afternoon & are trying to finish before dark.

Locked door to facility to “save the air conditioning.” Started watering halfway thru round and the smell of septic was overwhelming. Have a great course, but wouldn’t recommend simply based on the horrible smell of irrigation system And not allowing golfers inside facility because of the heat seems absolutely ridiculous, never seen that at any other course in 30 plus years

The nice price point and open fairways makes this a perfect course for an up and coming golfer like me.

It's a very good course and in condition at a good price but pace of play is very slow. Since the fee is at a lower standard than other courses, lots to players to deal with at all levels. My fastest round in this course was at 4 hrs and 50 minutes with no Marshall to go around the course.

This is the second time this summer I played this course, and it is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Enough challenges without being absurd, but still great for a duffer like me.

Only complaint, several of the bunkers were hard. The Sand on #8 was like hitting off clay.

2 things I’d change if I ran this course:

1) I’d spray for bugs more often. They’re horrible if there’s little to no wind blowing.

2) I’d space tee times out to 12 min per group. Vice the 10 min spacing currently used.

Other than that, I love this course!

Pace of play was on target. Greens are in good shape. Rough is challenging and met a couple of cool dudes!
