Needs Improvement, but nice course
First time playing this past weekend. The greens are 5 Star, evil and unforgiving if miss, my favorite type of green. After that the rest of the course is in just average shape. It’s a shame, so much time is clearly put into the greens and the rest of course seems to get ignored other than regular mowing. Pace of play was good. Carts are lacking, very jerky and unpredictable. We’ll be back because we enjoyed the quick play and layout was good for several in our group who are not great players. But for the price on Sunday there are better options just down the road in Westminster for less money.
Such a peaceful place
Love this golf course. Well maintained, clean, quiet.
Will visit more often.
first time playing maple run
didn't have a driving range, but overall a good course.
Hidden Gem
I’ve been playing here for almost two decades. Ouch….But, Maple Run has truly become a hidden gem. The fees are very reasonable, especially given the area, and the course is in great shape. Greens are true snd soft enough to be fun while still being challenging with slope and undulation. The staff is the friendliest in the tri state and pace is rarely an issue. There no range, but there are a couple warm up bays near the first tee to get loosened up as well as a chipping and putting green.
For amenities, they have a decently stocked shop with apparel, balls, accessories, bug spray etc and a great kitchen with cold drinks and cheap food.
Go. Take your friends. Take me. Take your mom. It’s great no matter what
Maple Run
This is such a fun course. Many upgrades to the cart path and clubhouse. Very friendly staff. highly reccommend.
They let just about anyone out on the golf course now days
We got stuck behind 2 people that literally played atleast 2 balls each for each shot and we called the clubhouse and they didn't do anything about it and they were blasting their stupid little radio for everyone to hear and I just cant believe they allow that crap on the golf courses it's ridiculous, your playing golf your not at a concert so people need to be more respectful of others or just stay home,it's a golf course not a playground/driving range or concert
Maple Run
This course has had some major improvements in the last few years. Upgraded carts, the cart paths have been repaired and the snack bar has had major improvements. Will def be back and highly recommend!
Open Course, Tough Greens
Played a late morning Sunday with some buddies.
Raining and kinda missirible at the start of the round but weather cleared up and turned out to be a nice day.
Fairways and rough are about on par with what you would expect for the price and in good conditions. The greens were recently aerated and were tough. sloped greens and tough pin positions.
Biggest issue was pace of play. There was an outing in front of us who played at a snails pace on the back 9.
Staff was friendly and the beers were affordable. The grill was not working but we managed.
Overall it was a fun course and met all of my expectations.
Beautiful course to play
Enjoyed every moment. Quiet, clean and well maintained
Beautiful course that is always improving!
Greens haven’t recovered from aeration ,some tee boxes are a little rough
Too expensive right now for what it is
Love playing there but one big reason is the price. If I'm going g to spend $70 I'll go to Black Rock or Maryland national
Soggy but perfect
Course was very soggy due to a Friday filled with rain, but the course looked really, really good. Changes were made to Tee Boxes to make sure golfers didn't have to deal with over saturated ground. Bunkers were great and the greens were fast but true to the read.
