"Approach" shot on 13 from middle of "fairway". You have to hit through or around the power poles from 250 out Photo submitted by DrOldSchool on 11/21/2012
Good Condition
Course was in good condition. Greens have the small holes from being aerated, and it’s been too cool for them to fill in. But for mid April, the course played well.
A great golf course with friendly staff
It's a great course overall, and they started cleaning it up a bunch, and they have new Golf carts with g. P s on them so I would definitely recommend trying it at least one time
For the price, no call
I will let someone play it for themselves. And see what they think. To me for the price that they charge, it's overpriced now. From the carts to the greens overpriced,
Better every time I'm out lately
Perfect weather and the course is getting better every time I go out. You can see the work being put into this place and it is not going unnoticed by those of us who've been coming here a long time. The "cart path only" rule seems to be over-used, especially when it blocks off the areas far off the fairway that you may need to just get out and walk that before never were needed to be blocked. Some leeway on this should be changed as to what is off limits. Coming off an aeration, greens were still playable and didn't have much variance due to the sand and holes from normal. Made some very long puts even with all the sand. Best round ever this time out at 2 over par...way better than usual.
Course was in good shape
Course was in good shape considering the time of year.
Back 9
Over all the course is okay. Tee boxes are terrible. No elevation. Everything is flat. The greens are very bad. The back 9 is in very bad condition. Power line running through the course, telephone pole, right in the middle of the course. Ducks, walking around on a few holes on the back. 9 with nothing but duck waste you don't even want to pick your ball up. For the price during the week it ok. Weekend prices no way.
Great things are coming!
Beginning in 2023, the new owner started making major improvements... by spring 2026, this may well be the best course for the money!
This is a great value course. You get a better golf experience than you pay for. I play here often ( once a week)
Not bad, not great
I would like to go back to give it a second chance. The course seemed to still be getting its footing for the new season. The cart I had was bad. Jerked your head off and smelled strongly of exhaust (it was gas powered). Had to play back nine twice because front nine was closed for aeration, which was a drag. Back nine was moderately challenging, but fun. Greens in great shape. Fairways also good. Some tee boxes still need work. Club house staff was indifferent, on the border of dismissive, didn't appreciate the cool welcome. Food was meh but prices were good and guy serving was accommodating and nice. Overall experience was "okay."
Good track
Aside from losing balls in the leaves, this course was fun and challenging from start to finish. Able to use driver on most holes but had to be choosy on other holes. Greens were bumpy. Still showing aerated. Tee boxes flat, rough was not long and Fairways were good. I'd play here again!!
A hidden gem!
I love the layout of the course with the challenging dog legs. The greens are tight and cleverly tucked away on some holes but it was well maintained and I had a great time
